On a different note, rehearsal last night was not very good. And I am hoping that I can get ACT TWO well in hand for this evening's rehearsal.
It sounds as if MR BK is having a great time in the Big Apple.

-
Hi, Sam!
-
Dear MattH, lots of pain free vibes.
-
Hi George, if you're in the show, I'll see you next year. Promise.
-
Well I'm done trying to cool the place off. So I guess it's time to sleep.
Night.
-
Hi George, if you're in the show, I'll see you next year. Promise.
Cool! If I'm in the show...I hope I don't disappoint anyone! :-\
;)
-
So, last night I went to the second round of call-backs for The Brain From Planet X. Last week at the first call-backs, Josh, the director/music director, had everyone read group scenes (in the two scenes I read, he only had me read for General Mills). We then did some dancing, then singing (I was more familiar with the score than anyone else ;)). Anyway, I got the impression that I was definitely in the running to be in the chorus, which I would accept, but afterward, I asked if I could be considered for the Brain. He said sure, come back next week. I didn't know if he was planning to have the chorus wanna-bes (meaning, me) come back the next week (last night), but I got the e-mail to come, so I did.
-
We read a few scenes (different than last week...I got to read for the Brain), we all did a lot more dancing, then sang the title song again. Oh...BK, I looked more closely at the chorus book and the vocal score again, and it all looks okay. I think both Josh and I just didn't pay too much attention when looking at the score last week, but it all matches correctly. However, I didn't notice if the vocal lines in the piano score were labeled with who is supposed to sing which notes...men on the D-flat above middle C and the women on the B-flat above that. It looked like the piano score just had the two notes a third apart.
-
Anyway, we sang through that with everyone. He had people stand and then sing together in smaller groups and variations thereof. Then he said that most people could leave. I was one of six people that he asked to stay behind. He had two people each to sing the first part of "The Plan" for The Brain, Yoni and Zubrick. All six of us sang together to learn it, then he had three of us sing the song (one person on each part), then the other three. Then he switched up the three and we sang through it again. Overall, I felt pretty good about the whole process. Even if I "only" get a chorus part (and Josh has always said that he likes to cast very strong singers/actors for the chorus ;)), I felt like I had my chance to go for The Brain.
-
And now...to bed. :)
-
I'm crossing my fingers for you, DR George!!!!!!!! :)
-
And, in honor of today....

B --
Thanks for the Terrific dinner and conversation! It was great to have you all to myself at Joe Allen's for a change, instead of surrounded by your usual Entourage! All that plus my pal, the wonderful and extremely talented John-Paul Lavoisier and his equally gifted OLTL leading lady [and ex-DAYS star] Farah Fath for dessert! As the Merm would say: "Who could ask for anything more?"
[Except perhaps we should have taken a picture to post! Why didn't you think of that this time? Guess we need Jose there to remind us -- but he was obviously busy, off somewhere celebrating his Birthday, no doubt!]
Love, WW

HAPPY NATAL DAY DR JOSE!

Someone on the FINIAN'S RAINBOW staff is tweeting about the show and provided this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABVLhu2bPxo) this morning. My gosh! Cheyenne Jackson's voice is wonderful! Listening to it, I couldn't help but think of John Raitt in his prime. I can't wait to hear more!
-
Good morning, all! I slept well last night, although I suspect the Vicodin and muscle relaxant I took last night are the reasons I slept later than intended; I had taken them to see if they would help me sleep with my aching shoulder, which seems to be a byproduct of my crutch usage.
Wowie, BK, you are taking the town! I'm glad your week is going so well;
I had a pretty good day yesterday: a good morning discovering more amazing and expensive purchases sitting on John McGlinn's bookshelves, then a wonderful time at the Shbert Archive with the Life Begins At 8:40 conductor. This was a good meeting since we had a chance to discover some fascinating information on the comedy material from looking at the original band parts, and we had a chance to hash out all the angst and hostility of last week. Curiously, I have my train booked but there's been no word from the Loc on what the hell we are do about a hotel.
After that I got back home and who should show up but George, my handyman! He came in, looked at the bookcases, made lots of notes, and told me he would check with his doctor to see if he can do the work on Thursday; otherwise we're both hoping he can do it on Monday and Tuesday while I am in DC.
DR George, I think the harmonies were always written into my score as the two notes because that's who I was originally given it. I really should see a chorus book to determine why there's a discrepancy over who sings what. Since the lower notes are the harmony and not the leadui line, I suspect I always thought they were both sung by thw men and women with the higher voices on the melody in both sexes.
Thank you all again for the Finian vibes. I am looking forward immensely to working on the show.
-
Good morning!
Say it ain't so! Back into the 90s for highs today. Oy! I hate summer!
-
How wonderful to see Walter WIllison posting at HHW!
Welcome, Walter!

Happiest of Birthdays to DR Jrand59!!!

Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for DR George's audiiton!!!
Yes, indeed! Best of luck, DR George!
-
Happy happy happy birthday to Jrand.
Maybe in your honor Walter will sing something from JRAND HOTEL
-
I had one of my better nights of the last month. No, didn't quite sleep straight through, and it wasn't entirely pain free either, but it was closest I've gotten to a normal night in quite a long time.
-
I had time this morning to watch two more CRIMINAL MINDS episodes. The first featured the wonderful Mitch Pileggi as a father slowly losing his mind. Great performance and one of the best episodes of the season that I've watched thur far.
-
Page Three Dance!!!
-
And happy happy happy birthday to DR Jose (who has somehow become the source of so much valuable advice and info that have made 2009 so good for me thus far)
-
The second episode was unusual, called "Soul Mates." Two married men who have a kind of affair kidnapping and murdering young girls for one another. Creepy.
-
Normality-of-life vibes to MattH, as quickly as possible
-
Now for the important news!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Wishes to Our Wonderful Monkey Boy, DR Jose !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happiest of Birthday Wishes Today For the Newly Christened JRand59 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
So now I'm one disc four in the seven disc set. I have 14 more episodes to watch, more than I can possibly get done today, but certainly will easily be able to be finished sometime tomorrow.
-
Normality-of-life vibes to MattH, as quickly as possible
Thanks so much. I am SO ready for my life to get back to normal. This constant dealing with my health has completely thrown me off my scheduled routine, and I'm a person who really thrives on routine and the expected.
-
Fingers crossed for DR George!
-
Happy Birthday to DR Jose.
Can't wait to hear what you eat today!
-
Happy Birthday to DR JRand!
Have a great day!

Thanks for this clip, DR Dan. I love this score, and I can't think of a more enticing reason to come to NYC than to hear Cheyenne sing "Old Devil Moon," the sexiest love song ever.
-
I woke up at nine, but just stayed in bed until about ten minutes ago. Haven't decided whether I'll go to the gym, although if I'm to go I have to leave in about fifty minutes - we shall see.
-
Welcome to WAW.
-
Of course, if LIE TO ME arrives today and I get the go-ahead to review it, I'll have to put CRIMINAL MINDS to the side and start in on LIE TO ME. It came out yesterday.
-
Sounds like George had a really good audition - and I'll only remind that if it should transpire that he is in the ensemble, those roles are all fun and have a lot to do throughout the show.
-
Cillaliz-
Tell Samantha to hang in there. I'm sure she will feel much better when she gets into a routine and meets new friends,
Also tell Samantha that she definitely has friends at HHW. We are Family.
Which means Samantha should return to this site and join in the fun.
-
I guess my morning surf is at an end, so now I'll head downstairs and possibly try to finish watching the last two episodes of DOLLHOUSE on Blu-ray. I've promised that set to someone and would like to finish it so it can be mailed by the weekend.

MOST HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES TO DR JRAND AND DR JOSE!!!!!
Now, let us see many pictures of birthday cake!

According to The Villiage Voice (http://blogs.villagevoice.com/dailymusto/archives/2009/08/famous_broadway.php), BK probably wouldn't have been able to meet up with anyone at the Edison Cafe yesterday.
-
Hey, DR Ann of the Beguiling Eyes--Toby looked mighty cute in your pics last night!
-
Yes, I mentioned the Edison being closed. I've been having an amusing (not for the recipients) e-mail volley about a casting session for the long musical. I guess with these people everything has to be long. They've scheduled a nine-hour day on September 3. They did so without first asking me if that day was okay with me (it is, but it's nice to be asked), and then they just kept scheduling more and more actors. Having done many casting sessions, I can only tell you that I, for one, am done after six, maybe seven hours. It's not fair for any actor coming in after that time frame, at least for me, because all I want to do is NOT see any more actors. I told them it was MY idea to have these casting sessions to find the best we can find, but the length of the session is insane and I don't believe it even includes a lunch break. I can only tell you, it won't be happening again.

Also tell Samantha that she definitely has friends at HHW. We are Family.

I have been encouraging her, as have many of her friends and relatives. I appreciate your post and I will pass it on and tell her that and that it came from you.
-
DR Cillaliz - I just sent Samantha a friend request on Facebook, but I forgot to remind her that she thought I was cute when we were in NYC.
-
Don't know if I mentioned it, but tonight I go to my first meeting as a member of the board of a local nonprofit that's mission is to save historic buildings in town. We have a rich architectural history here and there are many buildings that have been saved over the years. I'm really looking forward to being a part of this group.
-
DR Cillaliz - I just sent Samantha a friend request on Facebook, but I forgot to remind her that she thought I was cute when we were in NYC.
Oh, she'll remember. She had a great time in New York with everyone and still mentions it when we are together. She remembers everyone and has mentioned you by name more than once (in a good way)
Jon also mentions the New York trip frequently. He's doing well right now. He's had some health issues, but has a new doc and that's going well. His dad is going into restoration of china/pottery etc. It's a very interesting thing and he apparently has quite a knack for it. He's studying with one of the top restorers right now. They are talking about Jon going into business with his day to handle the business side of things and I think he's interested in doing that. Right now, Jon is loving being around his family, especially his twin and his niece. Hopefully this will all work out, too.
-
Oy! Without Edith here, it's way to easy to just fritter away the day. Must go.
-
How could no one have co-opted THE PECULIAR SMELL OF EFFLUVIUM for the title of their next whatever....or did I miss it?
-
DR Cillaliz - hope you enjoy your board position with the historic preservation group. Worthwhile work.
-
Hap-pyyyyy BD (and many more!) to our Dear Enabler! May visions of Monkey Cake (and Levains) fill your day!
(If I were in NYC, I'd bring you a slice of Monkey Cake -- loudly singing the Birthday Song -- with lots of confetti tossed about of course...) :-*
-
And Happy Birthday wishes to our DR JRand -- May your Uranus retrograde with whatever makes for special BD vibes (well now that makes for a most euphemistic greeting, which of course was not intended ... ;D)
-
And spoo, my E and T behavior made me miss our Dear TCB's BD :'(
-- Hope it was spectacular, TCB!!

Say, isn't this the Johnny Mercer (http://www.daemonsmovies.com/2009/08/18/clint-eastwood-presents-johnny-mercer-the-dreams-on-me/) documentary that DR Edisaurus was working on??
-
Hello, DR Miss Karen!! :D
-
AND what great news about the new gig, DR ELmo!! Yeaaaa!
And I hope you are feeling much better these days -- and getting more sleep
-- see it has been a while since I last posted ...
-
Hello, DR Miss Karen!! :D
DR SingDAW!!! I've missed ya (and all you HHWayers) -- Kiss, kiss, hug, hug...
-
And where IS edisaurus? Back from the gym - even though my legs are still sore, I did do a brisk four miles and then walked a brisk mile on the treadmill to cool down. There's a big sign as you leave the gym that says I'll feel the glow from the workout for hours. What is this glow?
-
Well, enough of my mini-frenzy (that was for you DR RonnieP -- a burst of gratuitous posts -- your favorite!). Gotta scram -- puppy needs a walkin' and some costumes (hats -- yes, some folks still wear hats) need some feathers ... Ciao!
-
Good Morning! Good Afternoon!
I'm up, I'm up... And it's my birthday, and I'll sleep in if I want to! ;)
-
I don't know where Edisaurus is physically right now, but I know she's doing some Facebook entries that indicate she's hard at work on something. Sometimes, it seems to be a frustrating something.
-

Ah, Miss Karen. I can always rely upon you to give veritas to the old saying, "Nothing exceeds like excess!"
:D
-
Although, I actually did wake up early... Then started listening to the NPR coverage of the death of Ted Kennedy... And listening... And listening... There were some wonderful tributes, as well as some measured "reminders". Since I was born in Boston, I've always felt I've some sort of tie to the Kennedy's - and the Red Sox, of course. ;)
-
Happiest of birthdays to my natal twin DR JRAND!

IIRC, this was a rival documentary being made by some schnook who used to make spaghetti westerns.

...For all the Birthday Greetings! They truly have brought many smiles to my face and heart.

bk - As for your casting session, if you're calling in Equity actors, then your casting session is supposed to follow the rules in regards to length of day: eight hours (which includes the lunch break). -Especially if your stage manager is a member of Actor's Equity.
Do you have any idea just how many actors they are calling in, and just how much time they are allotting for each audition? I'm sure that once their eyes start to glaze over...
-
When I called last night about adding HBO to my cable, the suggestion was made that I just add it, see what I want to see and then cancel. I guess people do that all the time and it costs about 57 cents a day to do that. So I'm going to keep it for a couple weeks, load up the DVR and then cancel. That seems sort of wrong to me, but it was the cable company's suggestion and there's no charge for adding it or taking it off.

ChiChi the Chihuahua-Mix Named Hero Pet of the Year
by Helena Sung
As a puppy, ChiChi was rescued from abusive owners. Years later, at the ripe old age of 13, the Chihuahua-mix returned the favor by saving the lives of two elderly women in danger of drowning at a beach. This month, ChiChi was voted Reader's Digest Hero Pet of the Year.
Before he became a hero, ChiChi had been living with cruel owners who thought it entertaining to beat, kick, and throw the little dog out of a moving car. Mary and Rick Lane's niece Heather saved the pup and soon moved in with her aunt and uncle in Greensboro, North Carolina, while attending a nearby college. …
…
Last October, Mary, Rick, and ChiChi were enjoying a day at Indian Beach on North Carolina's Outer Banks. The Lanes set up a blanket and umbrella for their dog, tying his leash to the beach chair they brought for him because, "He doesn't like to lie on the sand," explains Mary. The three sat in a row on their beach chairs, the Lanes reading and ChiChi dozing.
It was late morning when the Lanes heard a little boy in the water shouting, "Help! Help!" Alarmed, the Lanes looked up, but the boy was only joking. The boy played this frightening trick several more times, and each time, the Lanes looked up worriedly. But ChiChi didn't stir.
As the day turned to dusk, the beach emptied. Deeply engrossed in their books, they didn't notice two women in the water.
Suddenly, ChiChi leapt out of his chair and started barking furiously. "He was whirling in circles, dragging the chair behind him and making a sound we'd never heard before," Mary recalls to Paw Nation. "It was very sharp, loud, and fast. He seemed panicked and was almost twirling on his leash."
Startled, Mary looked up. "A hundred yards down the beach, in the surf, I could see two women," she says. "They were struggling. One was on her back with her head in the surf and the other woman was trying to support her head."
…
"Thank you for rescuing us," the woman gasped, explaining that she had just had knee surgery and would not have been able to right herself and crawl up the sloping wall of sand to shore.
"It wasn't us, it was the dog," Mary replied. "He's the one who told us you were in trouble." Had ChiChi not alerted them, the women would likely have washed out to sea. "There was a riptide," Mary says. "And as far as you could see in either direction, there wasn't one human being on the whole beach."
Mary cannot explain how ChiChi knew something was wrong -- remember, the pup didn't look up earlier in the day when the little boy cried wolf -- but he sounded an alarm when the two elderly women, who hadn't made a sound, were struggling in the surf.
"I think ChiChi has some sort of sense that we don't have. It's the only answer," says Mary. "In all the pet stories I've ever read, the animals were always saving someone they know, like their family or friend. ChiChi wasn't. He was saving strangers. I didn't know I had a dog who could do such a thing."
ChiChi meanwhile, had jumped back onto his beach chair and fallen asleep during the dramatic rescue. When the elderly women tried to pet him, he growled. "He's a funny little dog," says Mary, laughing. "He'll save your life, but you can't pet him."

WELCOME WAWNYC! Do you have any pets?
-
Someone on the FINIAN'S RAINBOW staff is tweeting about the show and provided this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABVLhu2bPxo) this morning. My gosh! Cheyenne Jackson's voice is wonderful! Listening to it, I couldn't help but think of John Raitt in his prime. I can't wait to hear more!
Looks good. :)
Thanks for this clip, DR Dan. I love this score, and I can't think of a more enticing reason to come to NYC than to hear Cheyenne sing "Old Devil Moon," the sexiest love song ever.
-
Cillaliz-
Tell Samantha to hang in there. I'm sure she will feel much better when she gets into a routine and meets new friends,
Also tell Samantha that she definitely has friends at HHW. We are Family.
Which means Samantha should return to this site and join in the fun.
DITTO!
New moves take time. I consider myself a bit of an expert on this.
-
I must now work on my lines....I now have lovely dark brown hair, what there is of it. It is most disconcerting to see a stranger in the mirror.
You might get use to it & decide to keep it.
-
Don't know if I mentioned it, but tonight I go to my first meeting as a member of the board of a local nonprofit that's mission is to save historic buildings in town. We have a rich architectural history here and there are many buildings that have been saved over the years. I'm really looking forward to being a part of this group.
I wish you much success on the board, and a great group of people to work with.

I spun through my iPod and found that I had months ago downloaded an ootlegbay of an Encores performance and I've been listening to it this afternoon. What I think I really love about this production is that the vocals are all so dead-on. The performers are singing what was written without any modern day riffing, Streisanding, American Yodeling or any histrionics of any kind. It's a cliche to say it, but this is what's meant to have faith in the material.
I hate to think what's in store for us in BYE BYE BIRDIE in comparison...
-
And where IS edisaurus?
Just busy with projects, she'll be back. :)
-
I had time to watch the last two episode of DOLLHOUSE season one. The penultimate episode continued to feature Alan Tudyk as Alpha in a wonderful performance. I really loved that show.
-
I was equally disappointed and disturbed by the season finale. I didn't really get it (though it was great to see Zack/Scut Farcus from A CHRISTMAS STORY now all grown up and a total hunk) but I didn't take the time to listen to the audio commentary to hear their justification for what they were doing. Since I have/had no plans to watch DOLLHOUSE in the upcoming season, I didn't care.
-
While I ate lunch I watched RESCUE ME from last night. An episode with some big surprises especially from Lou and for Probie Mike. Season finale next week.
-
Page Seven Dance!!!
-
I got three more episodes of CRIMINAL MINDS watched. Yep, that hot lunch caused me to doze off during the one that had Cybill Shepherd as the guest star, and I had to go back to the last 12 minutes of the show to rewatch it.
-
Nice to see Bess Armstrong as the guest star in another episode playing a mother whose daughter was killed.
-
I spent the last half hour of the afternoon watching the two soaps I'm following now:
ATWT had nothing today, but Luke was featured in the previews for tomorrow.
-
OLTL was a continuation of Layla's wake-up call that started yesterday. Sadly, neither Kyle nor the gym guy he's dating were on today. Maybe tomorrow. Fish was on, of course, and will likely be tomorrow, too.
-
On a sad note...Ellie Greenwich, 'Chapel of Love' co-writer, dies (http://www.comcast.net/articles/music/20090826/US.Obit.Greenwich/).
Thank you for the link. I didn't realize how many songs she wrote.
-
DR der Brucer, fantastic dog story-thanks.

I have been enjoying OLTL off and on for years

OLTL? Old Ladies Telling Lies?
-
Good day one and all... Classes are starting up and the kids are streaming in. It has been a busy week...
I do have to say one of the most interesting questions I have gotten this week so far is the one a person asked today:
"Where can I buy condoms?"
I trust everyone is well and BK had a safe journey.
-
LOL Laura....
Old Ladies telling lies who only have One life to Live...
-
Ah. Of course.
-
OLTL? Old Ladies Telling Lies?
For some of the storylines, absolutely!
-
I'll probably not watch LEVERAGE tonight and merely spend the evening getting through as many CRIMINAL MINDS episodes as I can. Then, I can watch LEVERAGE tomorrow as I eat lunch. Lunch with friends was canceled for tomorrow.
-
I'm going to write for just a bit and then back down.
WBBL.
-
Of course.
A horse is a horse.
-
DR DakotaCelt - LOL! At least someone in a college library knew to ask where to buy them. In a public library, they'd expect us to distribute them.
-
No I don't think I will like this hair color - and no it wasn't for fun....it was so the Brewster Brothers would have similar hair color....even though I got the short gene..... maybe that's why this Jonathon is so angry.
I am off to our first run thru without books. Pray for Rosemary's Baby.
Monday night as soon as we started Act Three both people who were supposed to be on book ran off the talk on the phone or otherwise gossip and visit with other people.
-

With a bar and grill just off campus we usually get some rather interesting characters in the late evening..
-
Personally, Matt H., I think you should put in your review that you fell asleep. That would mean something to me.
-
Another sad loss...Dominick Dunne, author of crime stories dies (http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20090826/US.Obit.Dominick.Dunne/).
-
Did I understand this correctly?
Yesterday, BK gave Kevin Spirtas a lettuce wedge! Are there pictures? I suppose not.
-
And congratulations to Kevin for his name above the title. May the show run for years!
-
Yes it is ME -- the new and improved JRAND59! As you can see by my Aura Photograph, I am surrounded by good health and prosperity.
I thought that was cigarette smoke.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DR JRAND59!!!!!!!!!
-
DR Cillaliz - I just sent Samantha a friend request on Facebook, but I forgot to remind her that she thought I was cute when we were in NYC.
I still think you are cute; and I didn't even meet you in NYC!
-
Hi George, if you're in the show, I'll see you next year. Promise.

Thank you, Miss Karen. This year was subdued, but the big bash will come next year for the big 6-0.

Cue the stripper music!
Oohhh... It's my birthday... And there's a stripper too?
:)
Yes there is a stripper. A Cheyenne somebody.

If anyone has missed the latest You Tube phenom (other than FJL) this young man appeared on a different British TV show THE X FACTOR. The show looks very much like IDOL and SO AND SO HAS TALENT, but this young man (Danyl Johnson) is pretty darn good.

Back from another long but productive rehearsal. Today, I staged and restaged stuff, and gave her very specific things for the important numbers - she really needed specificity to ground her, and she's real happy. We continue doing that tomorrow - we're just two medleys away from the end.
-
Shortly I shall be on my way to sup with Miss Merrill Grant at Joe Allen. I may have to have the pulled pork sandwich and fries again - just too too yummilicous. If I don't, I think I'll have their tostada with chorizo and eggs - also yummilicious.

Good Evening!
Just taking a little breather after walking around the city for a bit...
Birthday or no birthday, it's been a good day.
-
Or something like that.
-
Any cake yet?
-
Thank You, DR TCB!!
-
I hate to think what's in store for us in BYE BYE BIRDIE in comparison...
Well... They've cut the dance number that Rosie used to do with the Shriners. "They" thought it was too "rape-y". ???
*I really do think it's neat that the Finian's folk have been releasing clips from the original Encores presentation. It looks like they've used the footage from the archive taping along with the great feed from the soundboard.
**And, yes, Cheyenne Jackson's "legit" voice is GLORIOUS!

Any cake yet?
No cake yet. But I did have...
-A Belgian waffle with bananas and hot fudge sauce.
-A Coconut Macaroon-Nutella sandwich
and
-A "Peanut Butter Cup" sundae: a homemade peanut butter cookie, topped with chocolate soft-serve and chocolate sauce
:)
Oh, and a turkey and monterey jack sandwich with lettuce and tomato for good measure. ;)
-
Oh...
And the Peanut Butter Cup was a gift from one of my regular ice cream truck vendors. :)
-
Mmm. Ice cream. Sounds great.

Okey-dokes - Time for me to tidy-up some things around here. I'm hoping to grab one of the mid-day busses tomorrow down to D.C., so, the more I get done now, the more I won't have to do later. And then it's off for some wine and cheese and wine and friends.
Laters...

Have a great time, Jose

G'night!

I found an article & video today about a certain woman and her house situation. I think for privacy sake I will leave the name separate from the link.

~~~Super Vibes That The House Actually Gets Finished!!~~~
-
DR Jane thanks for posting that article. Has anybody heard from DR Danise to know if anything has happened. Or what her situation is now.
-
Thanks for the info, DR Jane.
-
DR Jennifer I have emailed and not heard back. I don't really expect to until things turn around for her. I've browsed for news & was pleased to have finally found some.
Personally, Matt H., I think you should put in your review that you fell asleep. That would mean something to me.
As someone who is used to 7-8 hours of sleep and who has been operating on 3-5 hours for the past month, I don't really think that's a fair assessment.
-
I have finished through episode 21. This leaves me with five more episodes of CRIMINAL MINDS to watch tomorrow along with the remainder of the bonus features.
They haven't done commentaries with the show so that saves some time.
-
Dearest Jack and Jose, Please give me some of your cake. Feel free to interpret that however you wish!!!!!! ::) ;D :D ;) :-*
-
Most impressive episode of the ones I watched was a very surprising one involving multiple personalities. An actor named Jackson Rathbone did a fabulous job in that particular episode.
-
Well, I need to leave and do some laundry tonight. It's been far too long. ::)
Until later!
-
Guess I'll head downstairs in just a bit and get ready to go to bed.
Good night!
-
Jane - thank you so much for postingthat link I have been worryingabout Danise - I hope that everything is resolved for her very soon
The Vixter and I spent a good deal of time earlier this evening enjoying FJL and Skip's YouTube offerings!!
-
Back from Joe Allen and supper with Merrill. Kevin Spirtas dropped by to say hi, too - Merrill, of course, played his daughter in The Brain From Planet X. It was a grandly grand time, and I had something new that I've never eaten there before - the roasted free-range chicken, with vegetables on the side. It was spectacularly good and on trips to come I shall now make it a regular thing. Of course, that was the best thing I could have eaten, calorie-wise, so that part was good, too. We all shared the cobbler for dessert.
-
We had a little drizzle on the way back to the hotel - hopefully we will have no further drizzle and/or rain until after I leave on Friday.
Although for some Ellie Greenwich and Dominick Dunne did not hold the same place in American History pop or otherwise as Ted Kennedy, they both contributes to the arts and it is sad that they won't receive the same attention in the news.
I was out for dinner and CNN was. Dunne maybe had 2 minute news item (That's how I found out) and didn't know about Miss Greenwich until I got home.
Just a Farrah was bumped off the headlines when Michael died later in the day.
To quote a line from Death of a Salesman: "Attention, attention must finally be paid to such a person"
