Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of number two, and now it is time for you to post until the number two cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MIMESIS!
-
Good morning.
-
Bruce, congrats on an even better show.
-
DR TCB it is possible Nicky is having an extra difficult time adjusting due to his age and health. Has he lived anywhete else except your apartment since you got him?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good to hear the second show was great!
-
We have our final dress rehearsal this evening. The production is coming along nicely, one or two steps at a time -- but man, these are late nights. At least once we open, our run times will be consistent AND not so late.
-
I have a beast of a day and will probably not be around much.
But before I take my leave, I've been entrusted with posting three new baby photos!
-
.
-
.
-
TCB, if you were saying Nicky had a good evening as far as the new place goes, then you're almost there.
I found that either they love a place from the first moment and adapt immediately (which has happened only once in my life with cats), or you can just count on three days of HELL. However long it takes (and it's only a matter of days), all of a sudden it'll be like it's been THEIR place all along, and you'll know all is well.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Three great photos to wake up to. Pretty kitties. Thank you, ChasSmith.
-
Beauteous kitties
-
Glad to hear all went so well last night
-
George thank you so much for the laughs this morning, I was very sleepy but I am wide awake now after a good belly laugh
-
Just realized I haven't booked the hotels for the trip down yet
-
Book that hotel!
-
DR GEORGE I hadn't seen that video for a long time....most excellent work!
-
So happy for MR BK & Co. Love the lyrics and the idea of "You Make Me Feel So Young."
-
DR ELMORE do you know the origin of that quote you posted yesterday from Bill Hammerstein?
I am getting grief about it from some stupid people......"...that's the picture but it's NOT on his Facebook!...." and crap like that.....
I'll take it down if he didn't say/write it.
-
Never mind. I just deleted it. So stupid, there are actually folks defending this shit and calling it revolutionary, etc....and putting the disabled forward, etc.
They can have their idiot opinions - but not on my Facebook page.
Useless to argue with "woke" people and SJW's.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I'm blaming the rain, but I slept really late, then got up, turned on the bath water, made the bed, bathed while Stella sat on the edge of the tub, and now I am dressed and on my first cuppa. Annabelle is confused because we are now way past our regular patrol time.
-
I woke up to an email about possible work/ It has nothing to do with my emails and conversation yesterday, so maybe things are really turning to my advantage?
-
DR ChasSmith, thanks for posting the photos. I cannot believe how much in focus they are! It's not my style, as you know.
-
DR JRand68, Will Hammerstein's brother Andy is an old friend, but I think that post may be from twitter. It certainly isn't on his site, which is more concerned with the Hammerstein Museum in Bucks County. I'm sorry you got such guff about it. Since the source of my post was an old friend with connections to the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization , I trust it.
-
Thursday morning greetings! It's cool and rainy here in SW Ohio today and I don't have to go anywhere. Lots to do here at home and I even have our dinner all planned - meat loaf!
-
DR Elmore, Stella looks a lot like Rob and Mary Linda's cat Allie.
-
Yes beautiful kitties!
I trust it too DR ELMORE - but I deleted the post....didn't want any defense of the crap on my page even in the comments section.
It is very sad that the upcoming tour will cancel out many local productions that might have actually entertained people.....

Great photo, DR Jrand68!
-
I enjoyed your video, DR George!
-
Awww, sweet cat photos.
-
George - I love that video, too!
You captured every subtlety and nuance. :) Much better than in the real show.
-
Great photo Jrand.

That's great!!!

I just rescheduled a doctor's appointment from next Monday to July 9. It's just a routine check, during which he'll lecture me about my weight. I've spent enough time lately in fitting rooms and in front of my full-length mirrors here at home to KNOW what he'd tell me. Don't need that kind of negativity right before leaving for "vacation."

Fr. Richard wears a chasuble that looks just like that!
-
So happy for MR BK & Co. Love the lyrics and the idea of "You Make Me Feel So Young."
I did, too.
-
I just referred to Simon Legree in a meeting and had to add an explanation as to who he was. I feel so old.
-
I suppose I'm up - only four hours of sleep, but garage will now probably happen this morning.

Instead of a lecture ask him to send you to PT or a nutritionist, some sort of program. Our medical insurance provides our membership to the gym.

That was my "meeting the Pope" look DR GINNY.....it was beautiful....you can't see all the rhinestones on the cassock but when the spotlight hit me - I was in Show Business.
-
TOD: A nice Western Omelet! With maybe a side of fruit....strawberries or blueberries.....

The first year I recorded in Dublin, in 2011 before the foundation began to fall apart, I stayed at a four-star hotel/ The breakfasts were fantastic. I would say Dublin butter is the best in the world. In 2001. when we recorded for the Packard Humanities Institute, we stayed in a great hotel in London where every breakfast was a full Brit breakfast, and they too were stunning.
-
I must head out. I'm having lunch with Rob Berman.
-
Garage purge began, but they only brought an SUV so very little of it actually went - about ten boxes out of the fifteen that were ready for them. Next time, they bring the truck and we can do everything else. But with the ten boxes gone I can actually get in there and I've been throwing tons of stuff away, have found some really interesting tapes that I'll need to have transferred, and some interesting home-grown DVDs.

"Rhinestones on Your Hassock" - the lesser-known follow up to "Lipstick on Your Collar"
-
I think one of my favorite breakfasts was eggnog French toast on Christmas morning with friends. Another was scrambled eggs with freshly shaved black truffles in them.
-
Back from a wonderful lunch. Much gossip was shared and lots of laughs.
-
Page 3 Dance!

No response yet to any of my emails from yesterday or today, but I was just asked to submit some of my orchestrations for a possible job.
-
Getting the job vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
Disaster vibes for DR CHAS SMITH....even though they don't open until Saturday.

Clean out the garage vibes for MR BK.

Nice kitty photos!
-
Lots of delicious breakfasts over the years. At the moment I am craving the bread pudding french toast at a restaurant near us.
-
Back in 1978 I had brunch downtown in Manhattan and had the most wonderful banana foster crepes
-
But a full English breakfast made by moi is probably one of my favorite breakfasts
-
Back in 1978 I had brunch downtown in Manhattan and had the most wonderful banana foster crepes
A couple of years ago, I went to a local Olympia restaurant and had their Bananas Foster. I'd never had it before. It was delish!
-
In general, I like French toast, scrambled or over-easy or over-medium eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, etc. The usual stuff. Several places in town have breakfast burritos that are quite good.
-
Chicken-fried steak, especially when it's part of a breakfast plate, which is, of course, completely UN-healthy!
-
Well, I must be off. I'm leaving work early so that I can go to Tacoma Little Theatre and see tonight's Off-the-Shelf reading of Bootleg (https://www.tacomalittletheatre.com/blog/2018/offtheshelfrevolution-7lpkw).
-
I know the author, the director and a couple of the actors. I'm sure that it'll be pretty good.
-
I need to get gas first, and then I'll head up north.
Be back later.
-
The hotel in Singapore had 3 fantastic restaurants. One of those was the location for the breakfast buffet. It was superb and included dishes from around the world.
-
The yacht builder down the road is closing and has its last yacht waiting to be lowered into the Columbia River. The yacht is 165 feet long and is gorgeous.
-
The photos Keith took today are too large for me to post here. They are on facebook if someone wants to share a photo or two.
-
This day! A lot of garage digging, even though I wish they'd been able to take more stuff - and I still have not found the stuff that was in my hall closet in the other house - that's where all the three-quarter inch tapes were and also the digital files for Nudie Musical Blu-ray. Has to be somewhere, but there's simply no rhyme or reason as to how the put stuff.
-
Ready for sleep. I started watching a made-for-TV version of The West Side Waltz with Shirley MacLaine, Liza Minnelli, Jennifer Grey and Kathy Bates. It's not keeping me awake. It's not as good as Ernest Thompson's other play, On Golden Pond. Did he write anything else?
-
Sylvia Miles has died. I loved her in Midnight Cowboy, Evil Under the Sun and Crossing Delancey. And for dumping a plate of food on John Simon.
-
Good night, all.
-
Also - As they, whoever "they". is, used to say she'd go to the opening of an envelope.
-
Back from final dress rehearsal and ready for an English Breakfast.
-
'night
-
Um, page three? REALLY?
-
Off the butt cheeks and let's get some postin' goin' on.
-
Like now
-
Now is always best time.
-
Page four? REALLY?
-
Off the butt cheeks.
-
Good evening.
-
Off the butt cheeks and let's get some postin' goin' on.
Who are you talking to?
-
Where was everybody today?
-

Oh, no. :(
-
But 94! Wow!
-
Where was everybody today?
I went to the theater up in your neck of the woods. :)
-
Post #100!!
-
I went to see a reading of a play by Bryan Willis, whom I have known for many years.
-
He's a professional playwright and very good at it.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
As I drove home after the play, I stopped at a couple of places to do a little shopping.
-
I went to the Hawks Prairie area Walmart, and got some new Phase 10 cards.
-
Then, I went to the Lacey Fred Meyer and got some kitty treats, some yogurt, and a new shirt.
-
I had some Rewards Card coupons.
-
So my shirt was originally $60, then it was $30 off, then I had a coupon for another 20% off!
-
So, George, did you read in your Olympian newspaper announced that Hawks Prairie Restaurant will be closing.
-
So, George, did you read in your Olympian newspaper announced that Hawks Prairie Restaurant will be closing.
No! I'd read that the Fish Tale Brewpub in downtown Olympia was having financial trouble, but not the Hawks Prairie Restaurant. :-\
-
Olympia’s Fish Brewing Co., unable to pay its debts, is in receivership (https://www.theolympian.com/news/local/article231499743.html).
-
I have gift cards for the Fish Tale Brewpub (https://www.fishbrewing.com/fish-tale-brewpub), so I'd better use them sooner rather than later.
-

Supposedly, they will tear down the building and replace it with a Chick-Fil-A and a Taco Bell.

I would say sooner.
-
I called the HP today, and they said the story in The Olympian was just a rumor.
-
So, I don’t know.
-
Hi, jan. How are you, my dear?
-
We must get off this page.
-
No late notes tonight

I read the last word in the name of that place as something other than Brewpub.
-
Did I tell you that Sharry’s brother died?
-
How was the show tonight?
-
I didn’t think I knew anyone involved with it, so I didn’t go.
-
I was also not in the mood.
-
Not to mention, it is a long drive to TLT now.
-
HERE (https://www.theolympian.com/news/local/article231400273.html) is an article in The Olympian about the Hawks Prairie Restaurant.
-
Did I loose George and jan?
-
Did I tell you that Sharry’s brother died?
No, but I saw it on Facebook. :( I left a message there.
-
More financial vibes to DR Elmore.
