Hmm... We're watching "Survivor" now - we watched "America's Next Top Model" "live"... And there's still "Lost" and "Top Design"... Alas, I think I'm going to have to catch up on those shows tomorrow night, the day has caught up with me, and I'm feeling very sleepy already, so...

We'll see...

It's time for me to leave work and go to Costco.  Last week, I bought a 36-can pack of diet Pepsi and all of the cans (inside the case!) had gunk on the tops of them! :o AND one of them is only partially filled...but still sealed! :P Fortunately, I still have the receipt, since Costco now requires a receipt for all returns.

[Shhh...don't tell anyone, but I don't actually have the original receipt.  I bought a new (and clean) case yesterday and kept the receipt from that purchase and that's the receipt that I'll use to return this case.] ::)

So a couple of weeks ago I say I am getting a new tv....and that I am giving my old tv to my brother Dane.

My sister Paula says she would really like to have it.  So I say okay....can I borrow her van when I buy my new one, since it probably won't fit in my PT Cruiser.   Okay.....so today was the day after work.

No sister......she is now deciding if they can use it or not....they will get back with me.

After seeing A CHORUS LINE on THE VIEW today, I got nostalgic for the second CHORUS LINE I was a part of, and I put the tape in the VCR and watched the first hour or so of it. I skipped through the CAssie solo (our Cassie sang well but was not the greatest dancer in the world) and Paul's monologue (which I've watched SO much), and got through "The Tap COmbination" and Paul's accident before I turned it off for prime time TV.

BONES had a very unusual case tonight with bodily remains found in which the bones had been removed. Tempi and her boy friend also close to making a decision about their future. Very interesting.

I understand why she decided the way she did, but given the situation and the financial independence, in her place, I would have gone with him - in a heartbeat.

CROSSING JORDAN had two cases tonight, and the "mummy" investigation wasn't very interesting to me. However, the other case, the dead teenager, I guessed very quickly who the rapist/killer was.

Not the show's finest hour.

Good evening all. I went to see Angel of Ahlem tonight.  It was quite interesting and surprisingly funny.  I was impressed with the way the doc was done. It had very serious and touching moments interspersed with really funny comments from the survivors. There was a scene were they are trying to identify someone in one of the old photos and they are all sure it's someone else.  No doubt about it!

It was a wondeful evening. There was a dinner, I wasn't invited to it, but that's ok.  After that they had the exhibit of the photos Vernon took of Ahlem and then the movie.  Following the movie they recognized 4 survivors who were present  and had spent the week talking to kids at the local high schools, Vernon's family and the film makers.

One of the very interesting things is that there wasn't documentation of Ahlem before Vernon showed up with the photos. The survivors were all thankful that he had witnessed what they had gone through and that there was photographic evidence from an American soldier to verify that it happened.

The movie will be on PBS sometime in the future

LOST had an amazing episode with a final shock that took my breath away. But the entire show was very entertaining. So much scheming and double and triple crosses going on. Just astounding writing.

Sped through the IDOL results show and was very disappointed in the elimination. True, she was not at her best this week, but there are clearly others who are far weaker singers. Nope, she wasn't going to win the show, but she deserved a higher placement than 11th, especially in light of who's remaining to go on the IDOL tour.

And the male in the bottom two had his best-ever performance, I thought. Just goes to show how flakey the voting is.
