First of all, I love Bernadette, so I'm biased.

Anyway, she performed her solo concert here in Olympia about 10 years ago or so and she was FABULOUS! She put on a great show and it was totally worth going to see. I recommend seeing her.

DR Cillaliz - I love traditions like your malts on Wizard of Oz night. One of ours was Mom's clam dip for Miss America, which IIRC used to be about this time of year. She's coming over tomorrow to help me rehang the bedroom drapes and to watch the Michigan-Notre Dame game. She told me on the phone earlier that she's making clam dip for us

Bryan received secondary applications from two more schools, after calling today to check they received the initial application. Only two schools left to hear from, both of which actually screen the first applications before sending secondaries.

The secondary applications can be very time consuming & difficult, depending on the essay requested. Basically he is only getting out for food & trips to the post office.

Jane, our DS Rob is applying for a U. S. Navy program, a process that has taken enormous amounts of time. I can't imagine what it must be like to be applying multiple places.

Gerry & The Pacemakers are touring here at the moment. I think Gerry Marsden has had more than a few pacemakers replaced. Gerry Atrick indeed. Ok - He is only 65!

Ginny, best of luck to DS Rob.

I don't think I can express how overwhelming Bryan's process is to us, let alone to him. I guess I should be grateful he has more than one program to apply to. On the other hand he has more options to be rejected, not a pleasant thought.

Has DS Rob even considered what he will do if he isn't accepted?
