I just read that my PBS station will be showing RUN SILENT, RUN DEEP tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m.  What a great movie!  I haven't seen it in a hundred years, but damn it is good.  Clark Gable, Burt Lancaster, Jack Warden, Don Rickles -- What's not to love?

This weekend I will have to see if I can find my Dad's picture from WWII.  He looked a lot like Gable in those days.
