Well, you've read the notes, the notes were straight and to the point, and now it is time for you to post until the straight cows come home - they're trying out a mustard plaster right now, whilst a gazelle looks on in amusement.
-
And the word of the day is: PALILOGY!
-
And a very happy haineshisway.com birthday to Hapgood.

~~~CONTINUED FUNDRAISER RESOLUTION VIBES FOR BK!!~~~
DR JoseSPiano - It would be lovely if the cruise worked out, but awful if you missed the next HHW reunion.
A dilemma, indeed. :-\
-
From what I understand, bk s not one to get plastered anyway.
-
You watch your pilology!!
-
Working today....two rehearsals tomorrow...and some things planned for me to do.....since I "have the time."
It would be nice to be told or at least asked.
-
I have only seen ISADORA in a couple of network television showings.....I liked it, but would like to see it in the longer version.
I bought the soundtrack LP for fifty cents a few years before and I like it very much.
-
PILOLOGY - I always get that confused with PALJOEY
-
Or is it PALILOGY - ever moreso, I get that confused with PAL JOEY
Good morning, all! Another day in Toyland with an Appendix number "Flutter, Flutter, Little Butterfly" for Cinderella's two stepsisters, Dollbabia and Freakette. When Dillingham announced the forthcoming LADY OF THE SLIPPER in Summer 1912, it was for an all-star cast, several of whom bailed when it was obvious the stars were to be Montgomery & Stone, and Elsie Janis with all the other star parts whittled down around them. As a result, there's a lot of wonderful material written for the show that never made the final cut.
After that, I ned to tidy this dump a bit, perhaps watch Disc 2 of UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS. I've been reading Erik Preminger's MY G-STRING MOTHER, about Gypsy Rose Lee (that's one show I missed this week!), and I'd like to finish it to finish up the Harry Potter series.
I, too, would love a complete ISADORA, which I saw in 1970 or so and remember quite fondly. My whole memory of the film, outside of the image of the car being pulled from the Seine, is the gramophone playing the mournful verse to "Bye Bye Blackbird."
-
That's the part of the soundtrack album I remember most....
-
Good morning!
I'm on-line earlier than usual because I must clean up before we head out to see HAIRSPRAY this morning.
A little overcast here, and me may get rain later, but it's still hot.
-
I've only seen bits and pieces of ISADORA on TV, never the whole thing in any of its various incarnations. I'd love to see it one day given its reputation.
-
I also spent an hour this morning watching the last two Muppet Shows on the disc. John Cleese was the guest star in the first, and in one of the best episodes of the season, Cloris Leachman guested on the season finale.
In one sequence, she sings a medley of operetta songs from THE CHOCOLATE SOLDIER, NAUGHTY MARIETTA, and MAYTIME. Who knew she had a trained soprano voice?
The show was hilarious becasue the pigs had locked the other characters in the boiler room and had taken over the show masquerading as Kermit, Fozzie, and the others.
What fun!
-
Also on the disc was the 1974 Muppet Valentine Special, and other than Crazy George and Kermit, none of the characters made it onto the MUPPET SHOW two years later.
Mia Farrow was the guest star, and she was VERY pregnant at the time, appropriate, I guess, for a Valentine special.
The show had lots of Broadway tunes: "Love Is a Simple Thing," "Real Live Girl," "I Got Love."
-
I need to go clean up for my outing.
WBBL.
-
I wish I was cleaning up to go to see HAIRSPRAY instead of cleaning up to go to work.
-
Thought I would give the Unseemly Trivia Question a spin before my shower....submitted my answer.
Since I was chosen out of the electronic hat last week....I had to at least TRY to get this one....
Time will tell.
-
Shower is calling...................
-
Good morning! It's rather quiet around here!
I am working on building a web page. Translation: It is taking me 50 hours to do what a 17 year old could probably accomplish in 15 minutes. ??? ::)
It's rather humid today. If you believe the news media, then we are under an umbrella alert. :-\
Got a bunch of errands to do and things to attend to, before heading over later to see The Day Before Spring. :)
Sorry you can't join us for HAIRSPRAY, DR JRand. Maybe next time! ;)
-
When I return from the film today, I will be startiung the second of three box sets of TV/DVDs. This one will be HOME IMPROVEMENT, Season 7. I used to watch the show occasionally during its eight year run just to catch glimpses of the bearishly adorable Richard Karn (Al).
This will be the first time seeing an entire season of the show. Should be interesting, especially since the kids are going to be grown (and probably gone in some cases).
I always felt kind of bad that Patricia Heaton was always an also-ran at the Emmys for her work in this show. She never did win an Emmy for the show.
-
Matt - Do you mean Patricia Richardson?
-
Matt - Do you mean Patricia Richardson?
Of course I do! Argh! Thanks for the correction.
Heaton won a couple of Emmys for RAYMOND.
Sheesh! I need more sleep! :P
Heading down now to wait for my friend Jeff to arrive.
DR JoseSPiano - It would be lovely if the cruise worked out, but awful if you missed the next HHW reunion.
DR Jose So if the cruise is over on the 28th, could you make it back to NYC by the 30th for the closing night of The Brain?
LOL!!!
I took the whole day off yesterday and boy do I feel better. I slept in today and now must feed the cats, take a shower and start my day. I need to hang around the house and clean this place, it's a mess! But I'm thinking about going shopping instead.
Every one keeps telling me they love my 'new look' that is actually dressisng up for work every day. (every day was casual day at the FPD) Since there are some great clothing sales going on, it would probably behoove me, yes behoove me to take advantage of them.
-
Good morning, HHW!
-
I'm up! I'm up...
Actually, I've been up three or four times already today. Each time I freaked out 'cause I thought I overslept. Happens every Sunday...I'm always afraid I'm going to sleep through the matinee...
I'm ready to go back to bed, though. Who wants to work Avenue Q for me??
Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And it seems everyone here slept in as well, and has appointments, gatherings, meetings this afternoon. So, the coffee is on - which I will probably not drink (just not in the mood for it, but it smells good) - and we've worked out the shower shifts.
-
DR Jason - I would gladly cover you today - or even later this week - so that you could see JLP do "Music and the Mirror". However, I think she'll be going on Wednesday matinee since Charlotte is on vacation this week, unless stage management decides to split the week otherwise. So, you can probably catch her then.
-
-Unless we're going back to SoHo that day for some shopping. ;)
-
Awww - It's the three J's on right now: Jeanne, Jason and JoseSPiano!
And now I'm off to the Q.
Farewell to Beauty and the Beast, Grey Gardens, Gypsy and 110 in the Shade...
And the word of the day is: PALILOGY!
Isn't that the Italian translation of PAL JOEY? I believe that George has the CD.
...and once The Year of Magical Thinking Closes at the end of August, there will be no plays playing on Broadway. -Although, last summer wasn't all the much better: The History Boys was the only play on the Rialto for a while. :-\
-
HE'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!
-DR TCB, that is. :)
-
And I have to say, the Grease PR machine seems to be in full-swing - which seems sort of late to me, since there was no real buzz the past couple of weeks. In the past week alone, there have been articles in the Post, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, and now in today's New York Times. Although, even though all the articles are sort-of interviews, sort-of-analyses, sort-of-puff-pieces, their timing could seem coincidental. ???
Since it is Sunday, and I am unable to attend services.
THE 23RD QUALM
[/b][/u]
Bush is my shepherd; I dwell in want.
He maketh logs to be cut down in national forests.
He leadeth trucks into the still wilderness.
He restoreth my fears.
He leadeth me in the paths of international disgrace for his ego's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of pollution and war,
I will find no exit, for thou art in office.
Thy tax cuts for the rich and thy media control, they discomfort me.
Thou preparest an agenda of deception in the presence of thy religion.
Thou anointest my head with foreign oil.
My health insurance runneth out.
Surely megalomania and false patriotism shall follow me all the days of
thy term,
And my unemployed son shall live in my basement forever.
-
DR Julie - Do you know if tonight's peformance of Mufti is sold out? I really want to go.
Jose - The York theater website says the performance is completely sold out, but my experience with the York and muftis is that if you show up a bit early and are the first to get your name on the waiting list first, more often than not you get in.
-
Well, I guess we will find out if derBrucer is reading today's posts.
-
I have to be there an hour before performance time in any event. If you want, when I get there I can inquire about any ticket availability or a waiting list, and if they have one, I can put your name on it, and call you to let you know what they say. PM me your info if you want to do that.
-
Hmm... Well, maybe I'll just head over after ACL, and see what's there. Although, with the "severe weather alert" we're currently under... Hmm...
OH! That would be wonderful. Thank You! -And if I remember from last time, the box office doesn't reopen until 5:30 or 6:00 anyway. -I remember having to wait a bit to get my ticket for Superman!. So... PM is on it's way. :)
-
Forgive me, FJL, for repeating your PAL JOEY line. I should have read the posts first.
-
You're forgiven, TCB..
:)
Jose, check your cell phone messages, in case you're interested in seeing Patti L's final perf tonight.
DR TCB - I wish I could be guaranteed that it would not be her final performance.
Please don't take offense, Julie, it was meant as a joke. Actually, I think Patti is probably quite wonderful as Rose.
Yikes! I didn't realize it was already this "late". I have a few things to take care of before my matinee, so...
Laters...
Good morning / afternoon / evening, DR FiFiLePew.
Oh gosh, no offense at all. -- I was kidding, too! ;D
Hey Fred- just you and me in the house.
-
I'm up, I'm up, and had a good night's sleep.
-
Is this another slow news day here at haineshisway.com?
-
And just what has happened to Rodzinski? He'd better get his butt cheeks back here - someone let him know he will RUE the day if he doesn't.
-
The Oregonian's political cartoonist Jack Ohman had a(n) hilarious cartoon this morning of Oscar, the Nursing Home Kitty (complete with hood and scythe) visiting Alberto Gonzales.
-
Isn't that the Italian translation of PAL JOEY? I believe that George has the CD.
Sadly, I don't. But I do have the Italian stage musical version of Mrs. Doubtfire...really, I do!
;D
-
And since we're so close...
-
PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
Page four??? This will NOT do - the errant and truant are goin' to have some 'splainin' to do.
-
Will we never get to page five?
-
I'm having a nice, relaxing day. But it will be interrupted by a trip to Jerry's to meet a former LACC Theater Academy person who has some "information" for me - he's very long-winded, and I didn't really want to eat at a restaurant today, so I may just have some soup and rye bread, or some poached eggs, and then some fruit later.
-
And then it will be DVD time - I must figure out what I want to watch.
-
I am my own frenzy. And less than three hundred postings away from a major plateau.
-
I had a wonderful time at HAIRSPRAY. It's beautifully done, and the music is so infectious that I got drawn in at the beginning, and just never let go.
Didn't understand why Travolta chose to use that weird accent (which he didn't stick with in his singing). I wanted more Tracy dancing in the finale, and I didn't much care for the finale gowns for Travolta or Queen Latifa.
Still, those are minor quibbles. It's a super version of the Broadway show.
I was most impressed with James Marsden who, I thought, stole the show. All the kids are excellent.
-
Will we never get to page five?
Eventually.
-
I spent the remainder of the afternoon watching the first disc in the HOME IMPROVEMENT 7 set. This is the season where the youngest son dresses in black, a major conflict for the parents.
I still like the Tool Time segments more than the home segments; Al and Tim's rivalry is typical jock juvenalia which is funny.
I seem to notice the actors reading off cue cards more on this show than on other shows. Were the scripts not ready until the last minute?
-
I'm certainly getting through these half hour episodes quicker than I did THE MUPPET SHOW episodes. Of course, by the late 1990s, there was only 22 minutes of show for half hour episodes, and cut out the opening credits and that reduces it more. Got five episodes watched already.
-
I think when I finish this first disc, I will treat myself to a feature film just to take a break from all these TV episodes back to back. It may be THE PUMPKIN EATER.
-
Guess I'll head down now and read a bit of HALF BLOOD PRINCE. Then, I have the guest bath to clean. Afterwards, it's on to the rest of disc 1 in HOME IMPROVEMENT and then a movie.
WBBL.
-
My, this is a slow news day at HHW.
-
I'll try to add a few posts.
-
Marvelous Matt was here again today. He touched up the patch in the bathroom where the new medicine cabinet left a hole (new one is narrower than the old one). This was touch-up #3. It keeps showing. It still shows. It'll require at least one more attempt.
DR LAURA can probably relate to this. I hope DR MUSIC GUY's new projects go better than what Laura and I have been dealing with.
-
Marvelous Matt really is a Godsend. Today we moved several pieces of furniture up to the "guest room" on the 3rd floor. Of course, every time we move a piece of furniture away from the wall we find a new crack or other touch-up needed. It really is endless. major job security for handymen and painters.
-
I watched IVAN'S CHILDHOOD the other evening. It was a bit different from what I was expecting, but I did enjoy it. I thank DR MATTH for mentioning it here. I'm told it's been out a while on VHS, but I hadn't heard of it.
Did anyone watch THE MAN WHO TURNED TO STONE on TCM? Wow, what a fun movie! That is one old horror film I seemed to have always missed.
-
If I could be guaranteed that it would be Patti's final performance, I might even go.
Welcome back to a man of Taste.
-
That's a pretty complete list there, Jose. ;)
No one could ever forget you Miss Karen...Jose just didn't have his coffee yet.
What are the dates of the LACC show in October???
No one could ever forget you Miss Karen...Jose just didn't have his coffee yet.
Awwwwwww, you're so sweet, Mikey ... but we're not supposed to make excuses for DR Jose, we're supposed to, you know, the "b" word ... no, not bitch-slap him ....
Holy, moly, it is a slow news day at HHWay -- barely past 100 posts ...tsk, tsk, tsk ...
Well, at least we'll make it to page 5 ...
And here's the page flip ...
We have had a busy day celebrating Sherlock's first birthday.
This morning he enjoyed his first hike on Mt. Ashland.
It was warm up there and he enjoyed a rest in the shade.
Thank you Singdaw & Tomovoz.
We need a SUBLET!!!
No one ELSE better be out of town for my first trip.
-
How can we still be on page five? This is a way to send out a month?
-
I will single-handedly take us to page six.
-
I may have mentioned this before, but, when I listen to CD’s in the car, there are two or three glockenspiel notes in “Best of Friends” and about six in “Why Do the Wrong People Travel?” that sound just like the low fuel alert on my car, and every time I hear these songs, I end up looking at the dash to see if I’m low on gas! You’d think I’d have it figured out now (especially by about the 6th time within the same song)!!! Guy Haines has now joined the ranks of Pearl Bailey and Elaine Stritch. There is one glockenspiel note in "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" that also sounds just like the dinger on the car that tells you something is wrong. Do I know it's just the note on the CD and not my car? Yes! Do I check the dashboard anyway? Yes!
-
I think DR RLP is a fan of "Everybody's Out Of Town" (B J Thomas)
-
Better than a frenzied mini-gratuity
Which would be better than a frenzy in perpetuity
From George:
Total Est. Time: Total Est. Distance:
According to mapquest.com, from Tumwater, WA to Astoria, OR
Total Est. Time: 2 hours, 11 minutes Total Est. Distance: 117.98 miles
From Ashland to Astoria: 6 hours, 28 minutes, 381.27 miles.
However, if all goes well we might be in Aumsville Oregon on Sept. 22, with plans to go to Portland in the evening, or on the 23rd. So…..
Aumsville to Astoria: 2 hours, 33 minutes, 136.72 miles
Or
Portland to Astoria: 1 hour, 45 minutes, 89.98 miles
If Jose is in Astoria maybe we can go there before Portland. Much depends on Bryan (what his schedule is at the time) & when we return to the orthopedic specialist with Sherlock.
I just realized Aumsville is only 16 minutes, 10.13 miles from MBarnum. :)
Another day and no rain. So, as I was watering the tomatoes tonight after dusk when the cicada killer wasps have gone back into their burrows. I decided to rinse off the walkway and under a dead piece of the grass I found a beautiful rose colored stepping stone. It's off the beaten path, so I'm going to have to do some exploring and see if there are any more. There is a brick walkway that's really too narrow, so I was eventually going to do something else. It would be great to discover some beautiful stepping stones to use.
Hi all!
Sorry to have been E & T we had a bit of a crisis on our hands. On Wednesday my 75 year old Mom was bitten very badly by her cat...it was a very hot day and she was brushing him and I guess he just had enough...
Well, her arm swelled up like a balloon and Dad took her to the emergency room where they prescribed antibiotics and sent her home.
The next day her arm and now her hand were even more swollen and red streaks were running up her arm, this time they admitted her into the hospital and starting throwing around terms like "limb threatening"
She has been on a high dosage of intravenus antibitotics since a Thursday.
Today they did a cat scan of the arm and decided that things are finally progressing inthe right direction and that they will be releasing her tomorrow
VIBES are requested for continued healing for Mom's arm....
and now,, to catch up!
I finished the first disc in the HOME IMPROVEMENT set. Each episode is about the same in quality. None any better of worse than the others, so I guess there is a consistency there.
-
Next, I put in THAT'S DANCING and watched it. Boy, those Eleanor Powell clips did not look in very good condition. If they're planning a box set of her 30s musicals (and I read that Warners was planning one), BROADWAY MELODY of 1936 and HONOLULU do not look presentable.
Also, in that section on Kelly and Astaire, I couldn't believe they chose "I Left My Hat in Haiti." It's a mediocre dance number at best not really offering Fred much of anything to dance. Why not one of the dances from YOLANDA AND THE THIEF or even the comic ballet "Open Your Eyes" with the rocking ship in ROYAL WEDDING? That would have been infinitely preferable to "Haiti."
Nice to see "Lullaby of Broadway" again. That's very impressive to see on the big screen.
-
I just got off the phone with DN Samantha. She is very excited about the trip and is planning to look at various websites for shows to make a decision... She's also going to come to this site.
BK she said OMG it would be totally cool to go back stage at The Brain From Planet X, so we're definitely on for that. She's also going to sign on here soon.
-
Thanks to the generosity of DR Jose and that of possibly DR FJL or Jay Binder, I saw the final performance of GYPSY this evening. My Lord, what an occasion! The final scene after "rose's Turn" was the best produced attempt I've ever seen, and I enjoyed myself immensely. I missed several of Mr Laurents' snips in his book, but it was wonderful to see something well-crafted and well-directed. Excellent cast, but with Jule Styne gone to protect himself, I feel the music was stretched out of tempo a bit much at times and I thought some tempi could have been more relaxed, particularly "You'll Never Get Away From Me."
At intermission, I saw my old friend John Bolger, still as handsome as he was when I met him over 20 years ago, and his wife. Jose mentioned the wonderful AIDS film PARTING GLANCES, in which he starred with Steve Buscemi, and he said it's gotten a beautiful restored print, which will be showing soon here in Manhattan. After the show we ran into Steve Sondheim who stopped in what was a clear rush to the bar at the party to shake my hand. He looked wonderful and I was happy to see him. I was hoping for a hug but Steve clearly wanted to get to the bar!
Thank you again, DR Jose!
VIBES TO VIXMOM'S MOM~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
I began watching disc 2 of the HOME IMPROVEMENT set. This included the obligatory Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes. Among the guest stars in episodes on this disc thus far have been Tom Poston, Tom Wopat, Rodney Dangerfield, and Polly Holliday.
But unlike WILL & GRACE, HOME IMPROVEMENT didn't make a point of including as many guest star turns as they could squeeze in. They managed to find lost of antics for the regulars to get involved in every week without resorting to star casting.
-
DR Elmore, sounds like a wonderful evening.
If we're not the last show on that evening's program, there is no backstage: the show has to be broken down in - what? - 45 minutes for the next show to load in. At least that's last year's case.
-
I ended the evening with tonight's ENTOURAGE. A sex competition between Turtle and Eric wasn't very entertaining, but Ari's desperation to find a school for his son held my interest, and Ari's climactic confrontation with the school's headmaster was the stuff for next year's Emmy submission.
And it really was quite the occasion tonight. The final standing ovation would just not stop. However, when Mr. Sondheim and Mr. Laurents finally made their way to the stage - at the prodding of Ms. LuPone - Mr. Sondheim actually managed to hush the audience, and then he said, "Let's give a hand for Jule Styne." :)
And the crowd at the stage door was CRAZY! And I wanted to tell some of those people - especially the people who ran out of the theatre before the curtain call in order to be the first one in line for autographs - "Hey, there's a party tonight upstairs. It's gonna be a while before they come out. And if you do want to catch them, you should wait inside in the lobby." But I didn't. ;)
But, again, a wonderful evening of theatre. *And John Bolger really does look wonderful in person. Still. :)
Sounds like a wonderful time DR Jose.
And today's matinee of A Chorus Line was pretty wonderful too. It was the end of the first week for the "new" cast, and it was also the first time for the new "matinee Cassie", Jessica Lea Patty - who happens to be a friend of DR Jason. In short, SHE ROCKED! I had played most of her rehearsals with Baayork, and it was just amazing to see her progress. -And also to see how her body has transformed over the past couple of weeks - that dance really gets you into shape!
And even though this was the umpteenth time I've seen this revival, and the umpteenth time I've experienced the show in some form or another, I still found myself getting choked up a couple of times today. Jason Tam's Paul has really grown since the show opened in October, and the whole set up for "What I Did For Love" hits closer to home for me than I ever imagined it could. I mean, I come out of that stage door now. And it's still one of the most special feelings I've ever known.
Happy Birthday, Sherlock!!!
Well, as Gertrude Stein said of backstage facilities in the NYMF last year, "when you get there there's no there there."
"BUTTY GIRL"
-
Re. the closing performance of GYPSY: I hate both of you.
Re. Jess Patty: We did summer stock together in Louisville the summer after I graduated from undergrad school. She was Zaneeta in THE MUSIC MAN and I was Jacey Squires, the quartet tenor, though we are both around the same age. We used to do Fosse-style dances backstage in our Shipoopi costumes. Then, she played Rosalia in WEST SIDE STORY to my Non-Descript, Non-Dancing, Slightly Overweight and Slightly Balding Jet character. :)
Anyway, she used to come out during sound checks and announce, "This is for Jason..." and then she'd sing "Red Hot Mama" and I LOVED IT! She was truly one of the gems of that summer and, for me, working with her will always be one of the highlights of that experience. I'm so proud to see her moving forward in her career - especially considering she was "just" a chorus girl in THE BOY FROM OZ a couple of years ago, and ESPECIALLY because she's one of the nicest human beings I've ever met - and now she's playing Cassie! I just can't get over it...
And apparently, Lyndy Franklin, with whom I attended school in Oklahoma (and who is also from Kentucky), has recently been added to the list of Cassie understudies...! Yay for Lyndy, too!!
-
This photo of John is for DR Jose!
I see that HOT FUZZ comes out this week on DVD.
For those of you who saw and really enjoyed the film, are you planning on buying/renting it, or was seeing it one time enough?
DR MattH, I bought the 2-disc set from London a month ago and I've ordered the Region 1 DVD as well!
-
And apparently, Lyndy Franklin, with whom I attended school in Oklahoma (and who is also from Kentucky), has recently been added to list of Cassie understudies...! Yay for Lyndy, too!!
YEP! She's basically known the dance since she's the resident Dance Captain for the show, but, apparently, she's goes into "training" mode for it soon.
-
Now, my eyes are getting particularly heavy, so I'm heading downstairs to bed.
Good night!
DR MattH, I bought the 2-disc set from London a month ago and I've ordered the Region 1 DVD as well!
UGH! Just looking at the weather forecast for the next couple of days. It seems we're in for a string of stormy, rainy, humid and hot days. And then once it dries out towards the end of the week, it's supposed to get hotter. Welcome to Summer!
-
DR Jose: You must find out the scoop about some drama that apparently happened tonight after "Music/Mirror." Apparently, a certain understudy is not pleased that Jess is getting so much attention from Baayork and Michael...
:-X
Well, it's just Jess' turn, that's all.
OH! And the other "drama" you mentioned to me earlier. Well, it wasn't audience members that were the cause of the "drama". We'll talk. ;)
-
Wow! You must have REALLY loved it. So, I should definitely do a blind buy on this?
I did really really love it, and it was more fun the second time. How did you like SHAUN OF THE DEAD? The approach is similar. HOT FUZZ does to the cozy English village murder series what SHAUN did for George Romero's zombie films. It's a very funny movie. I think you would enjoy it immensely since you're fond of Agatha Christie, although HOT FUZZ seems more of a cross between LETHAL WEAPON and MIDSOMER MURDERS.
I've never seen "Shaun of the Dead..."
That dumbass show PASSIONS should be retitled "Gays of Our Lives." Is that head writer a raging queen or what?
-
I've never seen "Shaun of the Dead..."
Imagine the two buddies of HOT FUZZ in NIGHT OF THE LVING DEAD.
My brother-in-law edited a feature with Steve Buscemi and Sharon Stone called Scissors. I'm sure you've all seen it. :)
THE CONSTANT HARDENER
Oh Amy.... dear dear Amy...... never leave me a dangling carrot as enticing as that title, and then be gone once I get here. ::)
But I shall be strong, I shall take the high road,.......and I can't decide if your title is that of something from a hardware store..... something from a pharmacy,..... or someone that should be working for Elmo, Jose, and me, (each, 2 days a week. One day off for rest). :o
Hi all!
Sorry to have been E & T we had a bit of a crisis on our hands. On Wednesday my 75 year old Mom was bitten very badly by her cat...it was a very hot day and she was brushing him and I guess he just had enough...
Well, her arm swelled up like a balloon and Dad took her to the emergency room where they prescribed antibiotics and sent her home.
The next day her arm and now her hand were even more swollen and red streaks were running up her arm, this time they admitted her into the hospital and starting throwing around terms like "limb threatening"
She has been on a high dosage of intravenus antibitotics since a Thursday.
Today they did a cat scan of the arm and decided that things are finally progressing inthe right direction and that they will be releasing her tomorrow
VIBES are requested for continued healing for Mom's arm....
and now,, to catch up!
~~~Vibes for Vixmom's Mom's Arm!!~~~
