MBarnum I have met some interesting cab drivers, nothing beats your story.

Did Freddy enjoy having you to himself last night?

TCB-The room looks nice.  I’m looking forward to details & more photos.

I'm a latecomer to the Lynda Carter party - it's a huge band, and a very expensive album - they had what they had - it's pitiful, and Vinnie will, of course, make much more than I, but, as I said, it's a short gig and it will be fun.

I'm starving, as you know.  Well, guess who just called and is at least forty-five minutes away?  Walter "Always Late" Willison.  So, no way I'll be eating before eight.  Terrible.

I'm glad MBarnum's dog Freddy spells his name Freddy rather than Freddie (my spelling).  I'd hate for anyone to confuse me with Freddy.

I wish Bruce had left for dinner, but alas, it is not the case.  Bruce is getting a hunger headache right now - and who knows if he'll be here soon or not.  He didn't think he'd be later than 7:45, but that is a mere six minutes from now and it's not looking good.

We've had an incredibly exciting couple of days re-caulking our tub.  Oy.

We've also been out kitchen countertop shopping.  I like Silestone.  Betsy likes the recycled stuff, like Paperstone.  Another oy.

Does anyone have downtown San Francisco hotel recommendations?  I don't want to drive much when we're there--so something well located to get on cable cars, etc., to take the kids everywhere.

No Walter, and I'm afraid if it's going to be much longer, I'll call him and tell him to come later and I'll go get something to eat.  Seven was what I planned for, not eight or eight-thirty.

We're getting Frontier Airlines in Sioux City. It's about time we had more than one airline again.  Apparently they are still trying to get another. Hopefully it will be someone who serves the east coast.

Evidently not, he chose to be outside all night.

Whew! Had a full evening of viewing. I began by finishing the MEDIUM episode I had started. I pretty much remembered exactly what was going to happen, but it was enjoyable to revisit.

Just around the corner (a Shirley Temple reference).

Joshie punishes me for being gone too, MBarnum. Maybe he will forgive you tonight.

Next I watched OUR VERY OWN, a slice of Southern life with some surprising adult folks in the cast: Keith Carradine, Faith Prince, Mary Badham, Cheryl Hines. The focus was on the kids, of course, and the plotting was stale and not thought through very well either. Ah, well.

The transfer was nice enough.

I can't tell you how jealous I am that you will be working with Wonder Woman, BK. I mean...JEALOUS. Will you please tell her that she's one of my childhood icons? (I'm sure she's never heard THAT before). Seriously...I love her. No one can fill out a boustiere like that woman did...

I'm sitting here enjoying THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD and a Diet Coke. DR Jose and I had a loverly dinner at the West Way Diner and then he went off for a bit of practicing while I found my way back to Amy's Bread for a coconut chocolate chip dream bar. It was sinful...

I have been reading lately about tentative plans to release Disney's SLEEPING BEAUTY on Blu-ray next year, so I took out my standard definition disc and watched it tonight. I always love this film, and tonight was no exception.

Next, I opened the second season of DANTE'S COVE, the gay soap opera on the here! network (which we only get On Demand for now), and watched the first episode. Terrible plots and acting that's pretty poor, but it's a cast of truly beautiful people, so I just turned off my brain and enjoyed the view.

There was no new episode of MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST tonight, so I had nothing to record tonight. No RESCUE ME tomorrow night either, so there will be nothing to record then either.
