Since I don't go to movie theaters any longer, I don't see the major Oscar contenders until they are released onto DVD. However, from what I surmise, Gary Oldman and Frances McDormand seem to be the front-runners for the Best Actor & Actress awards.

I enjoyed DUNKIRK. Also, THE BIG SICK, though I doubt if either will wind up taking home the Best Picture Oscar.

I will leave for City Center around 11:15. Before I go, I have much to accomplish since this may be my last day for six weeks to use an elevator to reach the basement. I need to take a lot of trash to the basement and to scrub down the litter box.

I see so few movies that I have no interest any more in the Academy Awards, or any awards shows for that matter. I'm most interested in the Tonys because it may be my only chance to see a number from a show and many of my friends are up for awards.

The cats are unusually quiet this morning after breakfast; Annabelle's usually looking for birds and Thatch running wildly about the apartment playing The Flash. They didn't even eat all their food.

This can only bode trouble. They are planning something.

So I cooked up the 2 of the chicken breasts I bought and taking the easy route opened a can of peas and made some stovetop stuffing
