Bye.  We are packed but I still have plenty to do in the morning before we leave & doubt I will have a chance to post, or lurk.

Thanks for the good wishes.

OK, so in addition to everything else on my to-do list, I've got to practice my typing before the next live chat.  I'll do better next time, I promise..  :)

Have a good trip, Jane and Keith!

I'm still fussing about this paper I'm supposed to be writing.

Yes, I have my issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and will start going through it tomorrow.

Actually our local TV critic did a rundown of all the new shows in today's newspaper, and I took that section out of the paper to refer to as well once the new season gets underway.

Who knew they did brain surgery back in ancient Rome? I surely didn't until tonight. Pretty amazing to see in high definition.

The story is proceeding with a good pace and some excellent stories developing among the aristocrats and the plebians. Promises to get more and more intricate as the weeks pass.

Before ROME came on, I watched three episodes from Season 2 of CSI on DVD.

Enjoyed the season finales of ENTOURAGE (which left surprisingly almost no dangling plotlines for a season ender). I thought they'd keep us hanging much more than they did.

As for THE COMEBACK, HBO was advertising it as the season finale, but I have a feeling it is not going to get a renewal for another season. Sorry, because this is one show I felt found it footing about halfway through the 13 episodes and has turned out one winner after another in the past month and a half. If it isn't renewed, I will really miss it.

Well, I just left chat.  When I re-entered, it was just me and DR Matthew, then DR Swishy popped in, then DR Matthew left, then I left.

Did everyone else leave earlier?  Or were we stuck in some sort of alternate chat universe?

;)

And now I have a tummy ache.... Hmm... Actually, my stomach has been a little queasy off and on the past few days...  It can't be the brownies, cookies and cake I've been indulging in!

For my snack, I had a small bowl of soup with a few low fat tortilla chips on the side.

Oh, there's just a hint of fall in the air. Low 60s for a low tonight and tomorrow and the following nights are supposed to be in the upper 50s. Oh, I hope the forecasters are right. I am SO ready for this.

DR Jennifer, I am going to try watching GHOST WHISPERER...it looks like it might be a nice feel good show. Other then GW the only new show I have seen previews for is that lame looking HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER...it does not look good at all..at least not to me.

I want to sample REUNION which comes on this week (Thursday). The premise seems interesting AND there's a mystery to solve so naturally I'd gravitate to it.

GHOST WHISPERER seems too much like MEDIUM without the police procedural, and it's the combination of the two things that make me like MEDIUM. Without that mystery to solve, I don't think I'd find the premise all that wonderful.

But, then, I wasn't all that sold on VERONICA MARS until I watched it, and I got hooked quickly. You can sometimes to taken completely by surprise.

I will sample HOW I MARRIED YOUR MOTHER (I like Neil Patrick Harris). I am curious about BONES (but I'd check out any new David Boreanaz series). I will probably sample THRESHOLD (I like Peter Dinkins) and will definitely give NIGHT STALKER a try, even though our local TV critic gave both of those shows one star each (out of four stars).

Oh, and MY NAME IS EARL has gotten good reviews and I'll probably try it, too.

My my! It's after midnight here on the East Coast, and I MUST go to bed.

Will be back on Monday to enjoy Labor Day with the faithful who pop back on the forum.
