Nice to hear about Ben & Ant's trip.

I love the name "Cheapos."

Scientists call that a copulation wheel, but one of the kids said it was a damselfly heart.

OK, can't find any confirmation, but I'd be remiss if I didn;t mention it here and it turned out to be true -

Is there any truth to the crazy rumor that Liza Minnelli and Tony Danza are engaged?

Well, FJL, when I just did a google search with both of their names, I didn't find anything.

I've spent the last month or so looking into back braces. I've worn one before. Although they are cumbersome (well, that one was), it did help. There are some new technologies available. I'm now trying out the Serola sacroiliac belt. My osteopath said it's what they recommend to their patients, but it doesn't help everyone. I must say it's very, very comfortable. It's worn around your hips, comes in several sizes, and is VERY adjustable. It remains to be seen how much it helps me. My back problems are not typical and are more difficult to address.

Dr Serola has a website that explains the belt.

Thank you, TCB. How are you doing?

Not much change, I'm afraid.

Still in pain? Still not able to walk?

Yes and no.

We had lots of fun at my nephew's graduation last night.

Today we trawled at Cheapos, a local used CD and record store. It's not as good as it was in the old days but we still had fun. Anthony is looking for a copy of the Partridge Family Bulletin Board to complete his collection Partridge Family LPs. He had it eons ago when he was a youth but over the years it went missing.

We returned to the Best Western Plus (it's a nice place). Anthony went to the Exercise Room, I napped and then we went to the pool and the sauna.

Anthony is now napping and will rise soon for his afternoon ablutions. We will then head over to my brother's house for the official Graduation and 18th Birthday party for Joe (my nephew).

We have no plans for tomorrow, other than me printing out our boarding passes for the Monday flight home.

Bye for now.

Anthony might want to click here.

If Liza had made the announcement in an interview for a magazine coming out in July; wouldn't this be all over the wires?

Evening, all.

Just got the second helping of Leone/Eastwood/Morricone spaghetti under my belt.  Having a great time with these, and the Lee Van Cleef character in this one is wonderful.  Will refresh the palate with something completely different tonight, then on to GOOD, BAD, etc. tomorrow.  I'll top this little binge off with ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, probably Monday evening, then enjoy coming back to all of them after a breathing spell.

Stumble-through was very good - but every ballad was too dirge-like so afterwards we fixed all those tempos - Newman writes very conversationally and you can't drag out that stuff or it's mind-numbing.  One singer is not to my liking - she just makes everything difficult - I'm trying to get her to at least hit the jokes in Short People - I've given her several ways of approaching it, but apparently each has confused her and she feels she's getting mixed signals, which I don't think she is.  I think she's one of these actors with too much acting class.  No other singer in these shows has EVER had a problem with my little notes and they understand that I know comedy.  She also made up most of the words to the song, and that doesn't help the jokes.  I told her to go home and makes a choice and then play whatever choice it is with energy.  I gave her a really cute way to come onstage and to look at the pianist during the vamp and give a sly smile.  She thinks that means I want her to "wink" at the song, but it doesn't mean that at all.

Congrats to DR JANE & KEITH and of course to BRYAN!!!  Such good things....all in one day!

DR CILLA LIZ - I guess after her experience....the DR can stand for Doctor.....self diagnosis is a convenient talent

Good morning, all! I slept in, and now I have a full day of activity around the apartment: tidying, vacuuming, dusting. and a lot more things I really hate to do (but no lugging furniture, I hope!), plus more work on the EILEEN notes. Beyond that I have nada, zilch, to report.

DR JRand61, I look forward to more info on the "theatre events."

DR Ben, I hope the events in MN are going well!

Kudos to the Lassners, but, Nursie, the first reference to Bryan as "my son, the doctor" will get you a kick in the pants or a pie in the face.  What re his plans now?

DR vixmom, good news on your mother!

Thanks Elmore!   I've rested today.  Well after driving to Vermillion and selling t-shirts before the start of the ride.  I didn't wait for them to get back or eat lunch, I came home, iced my foot and have hung around here most of the day.  It's helping
