DR Jose thanks very much for posting that top chef link. I was quite unhappy with her after last week's show!

DR DAW i agree with DR Laura.  I think most people would call their husband's brother's wife their sister-in-law.

You're welcome, DR Jennifer.  -It's been quite interesting reading some of the other reactions from Richard Blais, Gail Simmons, Spike and Toby Young on Twitter over the past couple of days.  -And I hope I can watch tomorrow night's reunion show at the hotel in Birmingham.

*And I did think that the sous-vide'd beef did not look like it was sous-vide'd.  It definitely looked like it had been grilled.

*I also find it interesting that Toby Young's Twitter name is: toadmeister.

And I guess she will call her brother's husband her brother-in-law.

I'm up and very groggy, but the sun is shining, I've answered my e-mails and I intend to do the long jog.

Ginny I am glad to hear your optician is having your lenses reground for you.  Are you able to keep the current ones until the new lenses come back or are you stuck with your sunglasses again?

Sleepless in Seattle?

I am a sucker for that movie.  I wonder how the musical will be.

Do we need to watch tonight's IDOL?  I can't see there being any other top 2 other than:
Scott McIntyre (blind guy)
Lil Rounds (black mother)

Oh and i've been trying to find out about the IDOL wild card show on thursday. I knew the fans would not get to vote (confirmed). I think each judge will pick 2 tomorrow night and those 8 will compete.

I've read where those people will perform and then need 3 of the 4 judges to say yes for them to move on. But not sure if that is right.

If either of them are placed last in tonight's line-up, well...

DR MattH, I don't think The Bachelor After The Rose 2 is just a recap of the season. Apparently after the turn of events last night they need to do another update.

And btw2, I am surprised that some DRs were surprised by the turn of events since they were leaked last week.

Jennifer, I don't read internet sites about shows so I wouldn't have known about a leak

Amen. Most of us, DR Jennifer, have more to do than spend our time glued to tv gossip.

Ok, I'm going to try this. It's supposedly a real exchange between a Catholic Church and a Presbyterian Church

Unlike CBS which seems to be able to launch procedurals with the blink of the CBS eye, ABC can't seem to get even one to do well for them. Serialized dramas seem to be their forte.

Maybe too many folks are tired of "investing" in new ABC shows just to have the plug pulled, again.

Tuesday morning greetings from the Miami Township branch of Dayton Metro Library!  I'm on my way to 2 meetings with the grant writers and had to return some items and pick up some others.  It's too early to go to the meeting site, so here I am.  On my way here, I had a very interesting session with Debbie the optician, who agreed that the reading portion of my new lenses is pretty skimpy.  They're remaking the lenses and I should have them in a week or so.

I'm very impressed the office called to check on you.  This is a good optician.

In an email...did I forward it to you?   DR Jane emailed me and said it's an urban legend.  Can you have an urban legend in the country?

Well, since this is not from "The New Yorker", there's nothing to get.
