DR George, are you certain that Anthony's is a Northwest chain?  Because I know there are Anthony's seafood places in the San Diego area, and while it's not uncommon for individual restaurants to have the same name, two chains of restaurants with the same moniker sounds like trademark infringement.

Any lawyers out there?  GET TO WORK!   8)

Hmmmm...veddy interesting.  According to this page on the NW Anthony's website, they list the specific locations of the restaurants.  The only ones shown are in Washington State.  Woody, do you know if your ("your" meaning San Diego's) Anthony's restaurant has a website??  Might be something for an investigator as well as a lawyer. :)

Anthony's was not too bad.  Except that I really don't like seafood. :P That's pretty much all that they had, but they had a cobb salad with shrimp.  The good news was that I was able to get it with chicken on it instead.  Yes, I am a picky eater.  That's my eating disorder.  Pity me.

So anyway, after I picked out as much of the avacado that I could, the salad was actually quite good.  And for dessert we had the Melting Chocolate Cake.  Oh My God...this is one of the best chocolate desserts!  It's  little cake that has raspberry sauce over and around it and it's served with a huge scoop of ice cream.  When you take a bite, the middle literally has a chocolate center that oozes out and is just to die for.  The four of us shared two of them.  And you have to wait about 10-15 minutes to get one.  They make them fresh each time.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  That definitely made up for the avacado.   MMMMMM.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Now, only about 10 minutes until 2004!!!!!!

It always takes me a bit of time to post and preview and update and preview again and modify again and then preview yet again, etc., etc., etc...a "King and I" reference.  And then finally post...and then I have to modify AGAIN!

Has 2004 finished already? Senility has really set in. It only seems like 23 hours ago or so  that I was saying Happy New Year.

I like to just "post" once.  If I post and modify, I'm afraid that...potentially someone could comment on what I've posted, then I would modify before I realize that they commented and then their comment would mean nothing.  Yes, I'm weird that way, too.  ;)

Did anyone notice that in my picture-posting frenzy I became a Senior Member? Does that mean I'm going to start having Senior Moments? Does that mean I'm going to start having Senior Moments? Did I mention I'm a Senior Citizen now?

I whole-heartedly agree. Here's to many good meals in 2004! (Though I think it'd be MOST unseemly to breakfast together. People will say we're in love...)
