The copper color is the dark color.  The lighter color is a little more peach than it appears in the photo that shows the cabinets.  I'm using the light color around the cabinets and just doing the corner and another that is mostly behind the refrigerator in the dark color.  I think I'll do the border for now.  I have a creamy white to do the windows.   I think I'll like it once the counter tops are in

Thanks Jane.  It's growing on me. It's just a really different vibe than the bright yellow.

I just watched Mary Martin, Basil Rathbone, Bing Crosby, and Oscar Levant in RHYTHM ON THE RIVER. What a great set of character people supported them!

I am so sick of the Michael Jackson situation.

I am living for the moment when I can turn on the tv and pass a newstand without seeing that synthetic face and hair.

Two weeks old. That little one is a tortie - and thus a female. There's one little dilute calico, two gray/silver males, and one that is spotted almost like Joshie.

Someone I don't know left a comment in Spanish. According to babelfish.yahoo, it means: "very tuna is a very tender taking "

I am getting confused.  What night is Fred and Skip's place?  And what night is TWELFTH NIGHT?

I think at this point, for DR elmore (and maybe myself), Twelfth Night will, hopefully, occur either tomorrow night or Thursday.  For DRs Ginny and DH Richard, it will be Thursday.

The dinner at Skip & Fred's will also be on Thursday - pre-theater.

At this point, if DRs Elmore and Jose are able to get TWELFTH NIGHT tickets for tomorrow night, Richard and I will opt for one of our alternatives for Thursday.  We did, indeed, get tickets for AVENUE Q for tomorrow night - a special holiday-week Wed. evening performance.  They're usually dark on W evenings.  And I asked the guy at the box office if they'd seen a pick-up in sales since the closing announcement.  He said, "Not yet."  We got great orchestra seats, 11th row, center aisle for under $100 for both of us.

Ohio's legislature passed an emergency, one-week extension.

Watched some interesting programs tonight. Again, the main focus was to get as many HD shows off the DVR as possible since I was afraid of running out of space. Until I have time to get the Tony Awards copied over to my DVD burner's hard drive, those 3 1/2 hours are taking up a lot of room.
