Isn't this a beautiful necklace?  It is Giorgio Visconti.

It would look stunning on a black top.

I have to wonder whether FJL actually read the notes today.

I just read that Seattle author Mary Daheim will be doing a book signing tomorrow afternoon.  I don't think I will be well enough to go.

I've not read any of her books.  Her Seattle series looks like fun.  Which one do you recommend I read first?

I have read all of the bed and breakfast series and a few of the Alpine series.  The Alpine series just doesn't really grab me.  The B & B is lite and frothy, and occasionaly reads like Lucy and Ethel solve a murder; but I really enjoy the characters.  And if you know Seattle at all, it is fun to figure out the real names of the places she talks about.

Well, dear FJL, that's not the DEAL, is it?  Those who wish to be in the know here at haineshisway.com always read the notes here before posting, yes?

I always ketchup on the posts first and then read the notes.  My browser makes the posts easier to get to than the notes.

I knew I was right, and I'm quite certain that FJL will feel contrite, oh, yes, he'll feel contrite and NEVER not read the notes first again, lest the dust of 1000 devils swirl around him for eternity.

I actually have to do a very annoying backspacing thing to get to the notes, which I shall do immediately.

And swirling dust devils are a force to be reckoned with.  Now we'll just see if he actually reads BOTH sections of the notes.

Here's a little shortcut to the notes - www.haineshisway.com - save it as a favorite - it's ever so easy.

My guess is that our darling FJL would never have read today's notes and then would have been bereft of their contents, oh, yes, bereft of their contents.  No, it took us beating him with a big stick, didn't it?  It took the THREAT of the dust of 1000 devils swirling around him for eternity to get him off his complacent ASS.

There was one woman in the waiting room coughing so often and so loudly; that I would be surprised if everyone else in that waiting room didn't catch it.

That is true.  Fred has mentioned that on several occasions.

Well, I must be off.  I'm ushering for Judy Shepard, Gay Rights Activist & Mother of Matthew Shepard.  My ex-boyfriend and I saw her speak in Seattle about eight or nine years ago.  Talk about an emotional evening.  Tonight should be very good.
