Well, you've read the notes, the notes drove you crazy, and now it is time for you to post until the crazy cows come home.

I need to get up and get dressed for ushering for SILENT MOVIE SERIES: SHERLOCK HOLMES this afternoon.  But first, I need to print some programs for TAO's last performance of "On the Verge," and get some cream for the coffee that they sell in concessions.

After the silent movie, I'm going to The Midnight Sun and help with the "On the Verge" strike.  I don't think it'll take too long...at least I hope it won't.  THEN, I'll come home and watch The Oscars and post here on HHW.

I have no plans to watch the Academy Awards this year. Haven't gone to movies at all this past year with a couple of exceptions.

Or is that reply #9 and post #10, if you count BK's first post.

Our Sunday shows are at 5:00 and I think there's a little thing I'm going to afterward so I don't know what time I'll be here for Oscars.

What o'clock do the festivities begin?

Also, here is my token, obligatory chiming in against the time of year they moved them to.  It's just:  WRONG.

Good morning, all!  I slept rather well.  I do believe that lying or sitting with a heating pad under my left hip is doing some good.  I hope whatever is keeping the agony of lying at night at bay will continue.

Today I will proofread "Mama, Look Sharp" and then begin "Cool Considerate Men," which I may not finish since it's long.  I was working on "He Plays the Violin" Yesterday and suddenly none of the clarinet notes made any sense.  I kept thinking, what drugs was Eddie Sauter on?  After a series of messages to Joshie, he asked, is it the E-flat clarinet part?  E-flat, not B-flat?  Yep. I missed the switch.  All is now good, but I kept thinking, what's run away with my mind?

I had to purchase for this new Mac an external hard drive for CDs and DVDs.  I am noticing that several CD will not play in them.  The drive ejects them.  I am frustrated since i don't know if it's the age of the CD or the drive causing the problem.

DR Jane I saw on goodreads that you are reading Find Her by Lisa Gardner (which I just finished). What do you think?  I loved this book!  My first 5 star book of 2016.

I am sure it is why I had the horrible nightmare the other night.  Other than that it is well written, maybe her best book.

We watched BLACK MASS last night.

Enjoyed it.  Johnny Depp should have been nominated.

"Mind?  I have no mind.  I'm the village idiot."

I LOVE the '1776' score, and this is silly, but one moment in it that always jarred me is the fluttertongue flute in "Cool Men".  I think that's because it sounded over-miked on the film soundtrack and that impression never left me.  Don't remember the sound on the original cast album but I'll be hunkering down with that and the score tomorrow and through the week.  I'm guessing those bars sound fine in their natural acoustic balance.

Several of my friends attend there and I had some new headlights for my old station wagon which is now owned by one of them so I thought I would meet them at their coffee hour
