I don't know if anyone else watches WHEEL OF FORTUNE, but one day last week, a woman called a letter and it lit up.....and Vanna didn't move....finally she jumped and ran to turn the letter.....  Pat Sajak said: "Just thinking about life, i guess."

Jane, There's a four-star review on Roger Ebert's website of a documentary named Kedi about the cats of Istanbul. Sounds fascinating.

Had some tuna pasta salad.  I actually forgot to buy the elbow macaroni I always use, so for this batch it was penne pasta - not quite the same and not quite as good.

Sending good vibes to anyone who needs them!    It looks like our days of it being in the 80's is going to change tomorrow as we get the rain from southern California and temps in the 70's.

Raining here.  The helper came by - she actually went to the mail place for me and brought home a couple of packages and some mail.  Naturally the one thing being delivered by Amazon's own truck isn't there yet and probably won't be until five or six, so I may leave that for tomorrow, or I may go get it and get a sweet for my treat later.

Well, I need to leave work now and mail a package, then go to my parents' house to help get a couple of new toilets from Costco.  Fortunately, I won't have to help install them.  Whew!

Be back later.

I've been working on the railroad - outdoors for about three hours, and just have to collapse for a bit.

I'm sure that's both good for you and not so good for you.  People have developed serious death from working hard outside in snow.  The good part is that if you are pacing yourself, you are probably doing yourself some extreme good.  If you are getting frustrated and over-exerting, you are probably doing yourself some extreme bad.

I'm all for collapsing and resting.  But make sure you can get up and move on from there.

Excellent advise.

Understood.  I'm not snow shoveling -- that's what gets people in trouble -- just a little scraping and such in small spurts.  Most of the work is running the snowblower, the leaf blower a little bit, salting and sanding, that kind of thing.  And it is indeed good exercise.  I'd just rather be doing other things.

Good.

Thank you.  This looks very interesting.  I wish we had been able to go to Istanbul and that the people can still take care of the cats.

DR TCB were you able to speak to your dental insurance company regarding the fact you are paying for insurance that can't be used?
