I am DVR the Tony Awards I do not have the patients to sit through award shows and since I have not seen any of them or know any of the original scores I do not really care about the show. Just would like to see Bette Midler win so she can give an acceptance speach.

I'm up and at 'em a little early on this Sunday because I have a small gig to play at a little Farm & Art Festival at the theater at the Abbey.

Sunday morning greetings!

Looking forward to hearing about last night's Beautiful SW Ohio par-tay.

It was so much fun!  I've posted some pictures on Facebook, but I'm not on my computer yet.  When I get there, I'll share them here - unless someone beats me to it  ;)

The par-tay was much fun.  A few people I expected to show up did not, but I was delighted to see the ones who came.

My oldest friends there were DR Ginny's husband Richard and Cynda Kash, whom I met in seventh grade.  My youngest friend was Keaton Eckhoff, whom I met in the Wright State University musical theatre program run 2015.  When I heard that he was in Cincinnati with his family this summer, I invited him and he drove up

I was really happy to see several friends I had not seen in ages.  I last saw Mike Carter in 1978, and my friends David and Nancy Shultz drove up from North Carolina.  I had seen others there in visits to Ohio, but it was a fantastic par-tay.  It was a really fun evening and DR Ginny and Richard were perfect hosts.

I spent yesterday afternoon with Randy and Jo in their pool.  Today, we will visit my favorite nephew Matt and I will see his baby daughter, who's just over a year old, then back to the pool.

I doubt I will see the Tonys tonight.  DR Ginny invited me to watch them at her house, but I have to be up around 6:00 tomorrow to head back to the Miami library.  I''d like to finish up tomorrow and spend Tuesday seeing a cousin and working on Guys & Dolls.  If I do go back, on Tuesday, it will be for only the morning.
