I slept very well until 3:15 or so, when I needed to get to the bathroom. I was back in bed a little past 3:30, but I could not get back to sleep. It did not help that Annabelle and Thatch decided they needed a good game of tag on and around my bed for what seemed an eternity.

I've been thinking about the TOD. Yesterday I ran across the name Ofemia, and I once tried to read Zuleika Dobson. Its humor eluded me, but I might like it now.

My mother's sisters were all mad in 1939 for Gone with the Wind. When my cousin was born in 1951, my Aunt Dorothy wanted to name her Suellen, after one of Scarlett O'Hara's sisters. The pissy Middletown Hospital dictated no such name existed and my cousin was named Sue Ellen.

I want you to know I searched and searched for a meme that had "singdaw" on it. Closest I could come was "singaw", but those were accompanied by some cold sores on the mouths of the images. Next best was "Happy Brithday, Singapore"...but...no.

I slept extremely well last night. I know I should leave it at that, but...I just cannot!

Dreams abounded. Weird, odd and highly personal ones.

The least offensive: I was driving around Baltimore (last time I was there was 1971, and I loved it very much). My "thing" used to be driving to the nearest city and learning my way around on a Saturday morning/afternoon. I would get fairly proficient at not getting lost for very long, and always enjoyed the adventures. I did this in Washington DC, Jacksonville FL and Indianapolis...back when I was a young'un.

Baltimore, in my dream, had changed. And no matter where I went, I couldn't find where I wanted to go. At one point, I got directions that made sense, but I was on a bicycle and could not remember where I had parked. That dream just ticked me off a little and did not recur.
