John Barrowman seems to be guilty of overexposure during a recent interview.
And you are complaining why, exactly?

I think that if I were ever to direct a production of LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, I would have the cast take their bows to the theme from CASINO ROYALE and then lead the audience in a go-go dance party.
Dang, I'd forgotten the Casino Royale score!  Loved it!

Or birthday cakes!

TNT has lots of new original shows coming up that look really good...

I'm looking forward to Sunday and LEVERAGE.

But at least birthday cakes are easier to share. And slice.

Well, I wasn't complaining. Then again, I think I was just too much in shock - perhaps awe - to do anything else.

I will not be at said event. I'm exhausted after unloading the truck and setting up the room and filling two sets of bags. We have a lot more work ahead of us in the next 9 days. I'm going to take a shower and go to bed early.

I will be attending the dinner tomorrow at John's Pizza at 8pm but I'm just too beat to attend the benefit. I knew I would be but just wanted to mention why I'm not there. I look forward to a full report tomorrow.

They are too far apart.  The electrician had to come up with Jumbo sized face plates to make them fit this way.   The holes behind them are very big.   It's a good suggestion though, I'll measure and look around to see what I can find

DR Cillaliz, are the switches two separate switches behind the plates?  If they are, couldn't they be replaced by a double side-by-side switch that would the fit the faceplate DR Derbrucer suggests?  You would still have to patch the adjoining wall but that should be a minor repair.

I'll check into that

And I do owe a big Thank You to DR Cillaliz, Priscilla, for helping me find Mark's obituary and other information. I guess I must have been looking too closely at the Google results.  It is true that sometimes the thing you're looking for is right in front of your eyes.

You are most welcome, Jose. I'm glad I was able to help you.

The only problem with changing the light switches is then I have to patch the hole that will be left in the drywall.  Hmmm one way or another...

Well, I suppose that I should be leaving for the theater, soon.  Tonight, we'll have some lights...not all, but some. :) Last night, I bought some new black pants (jeans that don't really look like jeans) for my police costume, and I'm definitely going to wear these when the show's over.  I just hope my hem job (and that's NOT a euphemism ;)) holds up.  I don't want to have to fix it every night.

We'll see. ;D

Just to be non-lyrical for a moment, I love "Pacific Coast Highway," Burt's nifty tune featuring ocarina.

LOL!

Bacaharch did music for "A William Higgins Film?"   :o

To some it is the start of the Christian New year; to others it is World AIDS Day.  Either way a good excuse to light a candle.  And yes, I've worn a red ribbon all day.

Good evening all.
Well, I survived my first day back at work, and Jed survived his first day home with Toby.  He'll have him for the rest of the week.  I missed my baby terribly all day, but I enjoyed being back at work.  There's a lot to do to get my classroom back in shape, and I'm glad to be busy again.

Wishing many broken extremities to the benefit people tonight.

Good news from DR Samantha.  The prednisone is helping. They changed her meds a little today and she's doing the nebulizer thing, but she didn't have to go to the hospital.  She goes back on Thursday and if she isn't better than today, they will run more tests. But for now, it's better.   She said to thank everyone for the vibes and after she gets out of a friend's sauna, she will try to stop by to say hello.

I have had a long day at the office.  I got many things accomplished.  I brought some work home and may start on it later, but my brain was toast when I got home, so I'm taking a break.  Tomorrow is an office day (no court or appointments) so may just wait and do the work tomorrow.

This is old news; the stories of his willingness to drop his pants in public are many.
