I've really enjoyed all the different live from their living room performances on Facebook lately.  Most of them have really brightened my day

I watched Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last Friday.  I guess there will be a full length Broadway show every Friday - not sure if all are ALW but they are only up for 48 hours, much like what BK is planning with Levi!

I am discovering that people act like I'm not working when then call and I'm working at home.  It's like "you're home so we can chat"  which of course I do then I'm totally distracted.

I was interested in the Facebook Watch Party but didn't have enough time to research and see if it would work

And I do feel really bad for restaurants, some of which will probably never reopen.  How can they sustain paying pricey rent without doing dine-in business.

I tried going for a walk earlier. I would like to finish my audiobook tonight and figured I'd be able to do that on a walk. Well, no. I rounded the corner and a group of six or eight people with no gloves, no face masks were headed straight at me. I returned home and listened while I cleaned up some more in the garage.

Of course they weren't planning on moving for you  >:(

Why would you expect them to wear gloves outside?

I must say this is the first day since I've been working at home that it really did feel normal. I'm still learning the process for video hearings and other changes in the time of COVID, but so is everyone else so that's fine

That must be a good feeling.

I was wondering if a facebook watch party makes it so everyone can talk to each other and see each other. I've never tried it, has anyone else?

I have no clue.

The coffee place we often walk to is struggling.  The owner is very nice and I would hate for her to lose everything.  It didn't help that someone recently broke in, did damage, and emptied her cash register.

I just don't see how, for example, a place like Hugo's can weather this for too long - I'm sure they get some take-out orders but that can't sustain them.  But it's the smaller jernts - how do they get through this awfulness?

Our governor cancelled all school buildings closed through the rest of this school year.  There will still be online schooling for all K thru 12 grade.

They just interviewed a woman whose daughter was going to graduate this year from Tacoma’s High School for the Performing Arts.  She said they have already paid for the caps and gowns, school rings, prom dresses, etc.  Now they will have no use for any of it.  Her family from all over the country had already bought tickets to fly in for the celebration.

I'm going to upload Levi! to Vimeo or YouTube (private) and keep it there for only two days for streaming.  So, I'll post the link when I get it done.

That would be so cool! :D

Well, certainly not Vimeo - you're allowed a whopping 5GB a post.  Needless to say, Levi is 160GB.  So, YouTube it is but I have to figure out the privacy thing there.

It's really 160GB??  Standard Blu-ray discs for the most part are only 25 or 50 GB.  It must be super hi-def...or some special format about which I know nothing. ;)

Honor Blackman of James Bond fame and The Avengers has died.

Oh, no. :( She was also in the 1981 London cast of The Sound Of Music and the 1987 original London cast of Nunsense.

Do most cities have people with their faces or hands covered?  I am not going into stores. But in Canada (at least where i am) they have said to keep the masks for the medical professionals.  They wash the grocery carts before each person uses them. You wash your hands before going in the store. And you stay 6 feet away from those around you.

They wash the carts or sanitize them?  The entire cart?  I am impressed.  Keith & I like to go in together and split the list in half but I do understand the reasoning to permit only one person.

Most of the masks are homemade or cheap ones the professionals wouldn't use.

The last time I went to Costco, they were just wiping down the handles of each cart, not the whole cart...at least, not that I could tell.  I don't know what any other store is doing with their carts or baskets.

So, what two days will Levi be available?
If it's done by morning, probably Wednesday and Thursday so that I have time to let folks know and make sure I have all the settings right so it can't be downloaded.

So, I guess I can't make a disc for Larry. ::)
