Yep, the winter temps are back, and just in time for DR elmore's return!

I ended up taking care of some shopping as I walked around, and I also grabbed some lunch at The Hummus Place - very tasty. And the mint lemonade was very refreshing too.

And while I was at Whole Foods, I stocked up on some Cliff and Balance Bars for my all-day Oscar Fest tomorrow. -I don't think I could or should live on the popcorn and soft drinks that are included with the price of the pass.

I must confess I haven't seen many of the films this year. Maybe that's the best time to get in a pool. I've won more pools when I don't see them all

The grocery store was insane tonight. Everyone is stocking up for the storm. I just needed some milk and something for dinner...I picked up some chinese take out and the rice was AWFUL!!! It tasted like melted plastic. Needless to say I didn't eat it

This afternoon a neighbor came up our road on his humongous tractor, blazing a trail. The road is easier to walk now, though he made it very difficult for Keith to shovel a section of the road that tends to ice up.

If Keith hadn’t exhausted himself today, shoveling, snowblowing & digging for 2 hours Keith’s car would be stuck on the road. Since my hair was wet & the road was clear I figured I could drive down to the mailbox in the SUV with studded snow tires instead of walking. BIG MISTAKE! I still can’t believe I made it home without ending up in the ditch, the car was weaving back & forth & the tacking beeper kept going off. At times I thought I might tip over. All the while I had to keep my foot to the petal in order to make it up the hill. I can’t tell you how grateful I was when I got to the stretch Keith had cleared.

Well, I'm now off to see a local production of "Picasso at the Lapine Agile." I was in "Cannibal: The Musical" with a couple of the actors. It should be very good.
