I've written about twelve pages, I think.  Car has been driven away by daughter's best friend.  I'd already cleaned it all out.

When I went back down, I completed the bonus features for SURROGATES. The most fascinating one was the 15-minute feature showing how the technology shown in the film is not very far off from being a reality. A real eye-opening experience.

The rest of the bonuses were interview with the two authors of the graphic novel which the screenplay was adapted from, some deleted scenes (where CGI had been apllied so the actors look very unusual from the way they look in the finshed film where they play androids), and a music video.

Then I was ready to watch the men's short program from the National Figure Skating Championships. WRONG!!

Though advertised in the newspaper as being covered today, the coverage lasted about three minutes, enough to show the top three men - Jeremy Abbott, Evan Lysechek, and Johnny Weir - do one jump in their programs. We didn't get to see any of their entire programs nor did they even give the results of the rest of the field. Some of us CARED where Ryan Bradley came in the standings or last year's silver medalist Brandon Morotz. I had to go to USA TODAY to find the answers to those questions.

Most of the 90-minute show featured the pairs championship final. I don't care for the pairs or dance so after speeding through it, I just deleted it. The men's final is live tomorrow afternoon. I'll be working, so I've set it to record and will watch it then. I sure hope they show some short programs tomorrow.

Another disappointing performance from NBC!

So, I decided I'd save LAW & ORDER which is still on the DVR until tomorrow to watch while I eat lunch. Instead, I watched another episode of ROME. This was the one where Caesar summons Marc Antony to bring the 13th Legion to help him in his war against Pompey. Lots of other things happened in the episode, but his deciding whether to rejoin Caesar or team up with Pompey made for a dramatic turn of events especially when Caesar's niece suggested that he ally himself with Pompey since it seemed that Caesar couldn't win.

It was a really well done episode of the show.

TOmorrow my work project will return me to the halls of Criterion - the DVD edition of PARIS, TEXAS. I haven't seen this in decades, so it'll be fun revisiting it. I barely remember it.

I guess I've finished my internet surf for the evening. I'll finish up some things on the computer and then head down to go to bed.

Good night!

Another fantastic weight watcher style dinner by the DP.  Pork Chops with pesto made in the George Forman, a FANTASTIC Cauliflower puree, and a salad.  The puree was out of this world and very low in points and was a fantastic substitution for potatoes.  Amazing....

I'd forgotten that, I'll have to talk to him about fixing that too. I'll be adding my new logo as soon as it's done.
