SNAP, CRACKLE, AND POP
« on: May 30, 2007, 12:17:48 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had snap, crackle, and occasional pop, and now it is time for you to post until the crackling cows come home.

My favourite cereal is and was "weetbix". It is Australia's best selling cereal.  It was originally manufactured by "sanitarium foods" owned by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Most Australian cereals do not have the sugar additives of their American counterparts.

Favorite cereals :)

I remember the multi packs of individual cereal mini boxes, so I ate a bit of everything. I really loved Cinnnamon toast crunch, but found that if I took it to school ( in a little baggie of course ) I would get a crowd of wanting children around me.
Now I am more of a cheerios girl, if I eat cereal at all.

Yesterday was also a day of me doing almost nothing.  I stayed home from work all day with the idea (my PLAN) that I would continue to sort through the boxes in my living room.  Well, I did go through some boxes, and some on Monday night, but not very many. ::) So, it continues and the time frame for the PLAN is extended. ;)

Yesterday evening, I went to rehearsal for "Taming of the Shrew...In Hell."  We went through act two (Shakespeare's acts 4&5) and it was very productive.  Now I just have to work on memorizing my lines...all three of them. ;) I have a lot of busy stuff to do during the show, so I don't just have to stand there.  It's been a lot of fun. :)

Since we've been rehearsing outside, on Monday, I got a bit of a sunburn on my forehead. :P Today, I sprayed myself with a spray-on sunscreen long before I left my house.  I'll find out tomorrow if it worked. :-\ The problem is that the sunscreen is quite sticky, even after being on me for so long.  I must take a shower before I go to bed, so that's what I'm going to do.

Good night...five guests. :)

I am working today.

Congrats to MR BK on his new plateau...post wise.

I watched INVADERS FROM MARS last night.  I have always enjoyed this movie, even though the DVD release I have is not in very good shape.

Inspired thusly I started to watch THE ASTOUNDING SHE CREATURE which I couldn't finish, even at only 62 minutes.  I then started to watch THE BEACH GIRLS AND THE MONSTER which I couldn't finish either.

Good morning, all!  Another day of Jury Duty, and I hope that it's all over by this afternoon. There was very little going on in the courts yesterday: only one pulling of jurors for a voir dire, so it may be more frenzied today.  I also believe the next round of jurors comes in tomorrow, so with that influx my group may be dismissed.  We'll see.

Last night, after I got back, I sorted through the mail, set aside the NEW YORK magazine to take with me today, unpacked my new Kurt Weill Edition . . .
http://www.kwf.org/pages/kwe/kwe.html . . .
and watched a couple of episodes from POPULAR, a series I somehow managed to miss in 1999.

During my ordeal with the Court System, I had two phone calls from Mr Ron Raines and Mr Kevin Spirtas, who's currently in Manhattan, and I hope that I will get to visit with him before he returns to LA.

TOD:  Shredded Wheat, of all things, Cheerios, Wheaties, and Fruit Loops.  Since my mother was passive-aggressive in her concept of life, we needed cereal around in case she forgot to cook, shop, or get out of bed.  Shredded Wheat without milk is grisly, let me tell you.

Good Morning. I'm tired after all this vacation and long weekend. I need another vacation but that won't happen until the 4th of July which is on a Wednesday so we only get one day off. I won't be going on vacation again until my usual Christmas sojourn.

See how tired I am? Yes, we get a 3 day weekend for Labor Day, actually 3 and a half days since that Friday is a "shortened day"

After all these years what else could I say, though I do like the Kashi cereals and they are cheaper at Trader Joe's than they are at regular grocery stores.
