Can you say "loophole"?

Baby 'Bubba' gets a gun permit

...Although the grandfather's gift to his new grandson also puzzles me.

In a social framework where guns are a way of life, such a gift is no stanger than a place set of sterling for the hope chest of a Bostonian year old grand-daughter.

Two shows that I remembered liking for the writing and acting. They were nice.

1) A Touch of Grace with Shirley Booth, J Pat O'Malley and I think Marian Mercer. It was a 1/2 hour sitcom.

2) Sara(h) with Brenda Vaccarro as a school teacher in the old west. I believe a 1 hr drama on CBS

I wish I could get excited about the season finales or series finales for various shows that I watched over the years but I can't.

Although I did watch the second to last episode of Law and Order: CI. Very different episode with standout performances by Vincent D'Onoforio (sp?) Rita Moreno and Roy Schieder (Who is looking old and has very obvious upper plate of capped teeth.

I'm watching a very sweet and touching film, with what was the best performance of last year, which naturally did not win the Oscar.

After one sees the first body or two, one seems to pay more attention to the organs and things. The smoker's lungs were particularly sobering.

I would have though that the smoker's lungs would be breathtaking - and the alcoholic's liver sobering.

Der Brucer would know - can you even copyright wordplay?  :)

You are protected against suit for infringement by the parody exception; I suspect a full number consisting of word-play on another work would be copyrightable (We should ask Gerard Alessandrini.)
