Well, it's time for me to get some sleep, too.

Have a good day, all!

BK, this was the original listing for the LP of Kern 4:
Side One
(CD Kern 1)1. Tonight is Opening Night (cut from film, LOVELY TO LOOK AT; same music as "Don't Ask Me Not to Sing" from ROBERTA) - Kaye Ballard
(Kern CD 2)2. Day Dreaming - Jennifer Bassey
(CD 1)3. The Shorty George (film, YOU WERE NEVER LOVELIER) - Rod McKuen (Mark Riese)
(CD 2)4. April Fooled Me - Henrietta Valor (Moore?)
5. Two Hearts Are Better Than One (cut from film, CENTENNIAL SUMMER) - Blythe Walker
6. Medley from GENTLEMEN UNAFRAID: (John McGlinn)
Gentlemen Afraid - Ron Raines
Abe Lincoln Has Just One Country - Bruce Hubbard & Male Chorus
How Would I Know? - Armelia McQueen & Company
Side Two
1. Bullfrog Patrol (SHE'S A GOOD FELLOW) - Joanne Woodward, Andy Anselmo (L. Moore)
(CD 1)2. What's Good About Goodnight (film, JOY OF LIVING) - Rod McKuen (L. Moore)
3. Dance Like a Fool (unproduced film, CHAMPAGNE AND ORCHIDS) - Andy Anselmo
4. Nice to Be Near - David Gebel
5. Left All Alone Again Blues (THE NIGHT BOAT) - Armelia McQueen
(CD 1)6. That Lucky Fellow (VERY WARM FOR MAY) - Rod McKuen (L. Moore)
7. Once in a Million Moons (cut from film, CAN'T HELP SINGING) - Blythe Walker
(CD 1)8. Cover Girl (COVER GIRL) - Larry Conroy

I'm guessing the tracks on the Kern 2 CD are from the original Kern 3 LP, since I cannot confirm a listing of the numbers on the original LP.  I assume that Ben put the numbers that are not uyet on CD onto the CD for Kern 3.

I always felt that when Ben started adding to the CD releases tracks from later albums to the original recordings he cheapened them, since swo many of the later recordings - made on Ben's dime - are so much cheaper in sound and arrangements than the early ones.

I have to go to Loesser Enterprises on West 45th today.  I look forward to seeing folk and accomplishing things, but it's in a bad location for an easy bus ride.

T.O.D.

Over the years, I've found that many of the specific things predicted via my personal horoscope have come to pass.

Lots of music to work on today. I'm having to ignore other stuff that needs to be done, but with two concurrent playing gigs now and an MD one coming up all too quickly (for which I have a meeting with my director this evening), I need to be slaving over some hot keyboards and Macbooks and all of that good stuff.

I went through a whole astrology-tarot phase between 1970 and 1979.  When I moved to New York, I dropped it.  In April 1986, a fortune cookie at lunch told me "You will have great news today."  That afternoon, my nomination for the Pulitzer Prize won, so maybe there's something to it?

I enjoy reading well-written horoscopes, but do I believe them? Nah.

I prefer the score to Bright Star to knowing what in the stars for me.

Tuesday.

TOD:

Yes, to a point, if the proper research is done astrology wise.

Since I did Tarot for a living for many years, I am attuned to what they can do - but a professional reader is a must.

BUT I do NOT use any of these things to guide my life.....sometimes if a decision has to be made, I might consult....but it is NOT my only guide.....

Tuesday morning greetings!  Today I have a routine check-up with our primary care physician.  We'll see what he says about my recent fall...
