Yes. Her name is Sasha and that's the only picture I have of her because she runs away from the camera.

Do you get to sit in your little house or do you have to stand all day?

I know DR Matt's new monitor must be nice, but I wonder if it has stereophonic sound!

It does indeed, but since I already have speakers connected to my computer system, I didn't bother attaching the audio cable.

I get to sit in the big chair. I like the big chair because I'm the same height sitting in it as I am when I'm standing up. It makes me feel tall.

I am allowed to read if I'm not doing anything else.

Had a full evening of entertaining (and semi-entertaining) shows.

I began by finishing the Blu-ray of PIRATES 3. The HD version is SO much more pictorially pleasing than the SD-DVD. Flesh tones much more true to life, detail amped up considerably, and the PCM lossless 5.1 soundtrack very detailed and wider sounding.

All of the bonus features from the SD-DVD plus the new things on the disc are in HD, so that was also pleasing. Often, extras are ported over to HD discs but they're still in standard definition and look so washed out compared to the film you've just watched. These looked wonderful.

The Blu-ray has a BD-Java added feature that details all of the work on the film's centerpiece, the battle between the two pirate ships circling the maelstrom. The documentary featured seamless branching and numerous featurettes that you could choose or ignore as you wished. It was about an extra hour of additional material.

I did watch SHREK THE HALLS, the new SHREK Christmas half hour. It was in HD, and since I am not able at this time to see the SHREK movies in HD, this gave me some idea of the pictorial quality I'm missing. The special itself was very typical-SHREK: loud, overbearing, exhausting. And I didn't find much of it very funny though there were a few minutes of merriment.

THE GRINCH was on afterwards, and I watched it in HD, too. It looked sensational, especially since the DVD I have was that first DVD pressing that has horrible color and tinny sound. (I have never bothered to buy the latest issue of GRINCH which does feature much improved color and sound.)

Next, I rewatched last night's BONES episode, and I enjoyed it very much again. Some very special moments in this hour of the show.

Today I recorded THE VIRGIN QUEEN off the Fox movie channel. Fox hasn't gotten around to issuing a region 1 DVD of THE VIRGIN QUEEN, so I'll probably burn one for myself at some point over the next few days. True, it won't be anamorphic, but it'll do until they get around to issuing the film on DVD. Rumor has it that it will come out in 2008.

I watched about 15 minutes or so of the movie, and it does look very good, so maybe this is the print they'll use for their transfer.

And then, tonight's PROJECT RUNWAY. I had no problem with the person who went home. It was a wretched design. I was upset with who finished next to last. The person who was excused right before (I thought) should actually have been the loser tonight. That was a hopeless creation from top to bottom.

The gears were stripped.
The springs were shot.
And all it was
It now was not.

But Cilla says
She will not frown.
The new door will
Go up AND down.

Then I told her Santa uses "six white jumpers" to bring the kid's presents  in Oz...."But why? The reindeer fly so what's the problem?"

Completely satisfied with the Pwoject Wunway wesults this evening.  A particularly difficult challenge to be sure.

There is still one designer that gets on my LAST NERVE.....my fingers are crossed that one day said person will be gone.  This person is like Angela and Wendy all rolled up into one skeezy ball.

...And I'm guessing the producers will be taking advantage of the brush-up rehearsal hours tomorrow afternoon.  -Although, since 24-hours notice is usually required for a rehearsal call...  Or maybe it's only 12 hours notice... ???
