On tv tonight:

Is anyone gonna watch the new 90210? I'm gonna try it.

Also The Hills (for me, on MTV yesterday).
Big Brother.

Happy Birthday to DR Ron Pulliam.

For what it's worth, there are DRs here who are older than you.

And for that I am thankful!

He left - maybe he didn't see the revised second page.  Maybe he was irked.  Who knows?

If you mean about 12:01 a.m., when I visited the new notes hadn't started yet and yesterday's column was still up.

Hadn't checked the calendar - and have added birthday wishes to the notes.

Thanks for the sentiments, Bruce!   8)

Happy Happy Birthday, DR Ron Pulliam! May it be filled with much cake and ice cream!

I'm hoping for lunch at Venezia, my favorite Italian restaurant.  But cake and ice cream will do nicely, too!

Thanks DearReaderLaura!   ;D

Good morning, all!  I watched THE CLOSER, and, after deciding I couldn't take Mr Goselaar seriously in that ridiculous haircut on RAISING THE BAR...

EXACTLY my reaction, as well.  All that flopping hair just put me off taking him seriously at all.  Not a good "do" for him.  He would have fared much better with his "Zach" hair from "Saved By the Bell".

Good morning!

Cool weather returns! Had a lovely night of sleep with cool fresh air being drawn into the house via the attic fan, and this morning has been similarly wonderful. Supposed to be cool tonight, too, though it will get into the 80s today and make me have to shut things up for awhile.

I could write a book about my pets...but I won't.

It's too painful to think about the ones that are no longer with me.

I love/loved all my pets...dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, hamsters...and I even had a goat once.

The only one that I didn't really take to was a parrot I had, named "Charlie".  I guess I'm not a bird person...and Charlie was a nasty pain in the butt.

After about 4-5 months, I started looking for another home for him.  I told folks that, if I didn't get rid of him by November, I wouldn't need to buy a turkey for Thanksgiving.

I was just kidding, of couse, but come Thanksgiving, Charlie has a new home.

Right now, we have a cat and 2 dogs (border collie & Norfork terrier).

Unfortunately, we had to put my other cat (of 14 years) to sleep 2-3 months ago.  I'm still not over that one.

Far too good looking to pull off that greasy "bed hair."

Yuck!

DR Jennifer and MBarnum:

BigBrother10 SPOILAGE

Mike, if you don't want to know anything more than you have seen on TV, don't read any further in this post!

dljkfjkljklkj ljfkj;lkj adfkjal;ksjf a;ljf;lkajsd lkjagj kla;lkja;sldfkj ;lk sadk jasdf;lk jasd ;lfkj ;kja;slkjf ;lsajd;lkjsf Dlkekjrjk kj a;lk alkj ljalkfjljakD eDaEfdDkj lk ajklalkjdjklfglkj a;djf ;klj jk slipscrew fjfdjkljk lakj;lk Dlkjlkj j djfkaj j;kjd scrawdad djkl j rjkl;k jlkj lkal;kj ;lkjjkg;ljk ;lkj;lkj ;lkj   I guess we had no right to expect anyone other than Jerry to win HOH after the two stunning (and stunningly perfect) evictions last Thursday night.    I hope we see footage of Michelle and Ollie entering the sequester house.

Now that we know who has won the veto and has used it in accordance with the plans, we can expect, I think, to see Renny leave the house Thursday.  Whoever wins HOH that night will ensure Jerry is the next to go, unless something really drastic happens.

Traditionally, when there are only three left, there will be a three-part HOH competition.  The winner of part one will meet the winner of part two and the HOH will be the winner of part three.  He or she will then decide who will go forward to the final two and the voting.

In a way, I wish it was Keesha who would be leaving this week because I really like Renny's chances.  That said, it's apparent to Dan and Memphis that neither can win if either stands with her at the end, so it's a sure bet she's gone now.

I'm looking forward to this season finally coming to an end, however. Xdljkfjklf lkjalkj kljfkjaklj ;lkjlkj adfjh;lkjafljhag;lkjalkhagjhahaklgj.

On TV tonight:

Yes, that new version of 90210 which was not made available to critics ahead of time. That doesn't bode well, and I certainly don't plan to watch (didn't watch the original either), but I'll be interested to read reactions of others.

THE SHIELD begins its seventh and last season tonight at 10. How I will miss it when it's over!
