As I said last night, I'm a procrastinator. ::)

And I am barely reading thanks to my eye issues.

Tom, I don't know if you remember when my nephew was around.  He went to New York with me on one of the HHW trips then posted here a few times he was jhvw something. My sister was his mom. He's had a very hard time with it and is living with his dad now.  It was good to see him and the rest of the family last week, just hate the reason why

Is it helping them both living together?  I hope so.

Yes, I think so.  She and her husband were joined at the hip, so to speak. They had been married 40 years. He was and still is devastated, so it's good for him to not come home to an empty house.  He takes his dogs with him everywhere, and that helps too. The other boys were also devastated, but they have their own families and I know they are finding comfort there.

A local theater was going to stage Bright Star starting tonight. Instead, they offer this bit of optimism by way of social distancing. Given the limitations, it’s wonderful.

I ran several errands. First, I tried to drop off a library book I’d finished, only to discover the drop boxes had been closed off because of the virus. It lives on paper. That likely means I can’t give any books away at the moment.

Then I went to Costco, which was heavily trafficked, though people were maintaining a didtance. First words out if the greeter’s mouth: Toilet paper this way. Sure enough, they had plenty. One megapack per member.

I am glad it is helping.  Now that we are without pets I haven't taken any trips without Keith not wanting to leave him home alone.  I know that would be hard on him.

I managed to find everything I wanted, except for wipes and I still have some of those. Even got a box of Ghirardelli brownie mix, because, why not?

Right.  I have been reading that.  My brother says he has still been receiving automated notices books on hold can be checked out.  Of course the library is closed.

Last was a trip to the gourmet food supplier and stocked up on black truffle potato chips and some amazing sardines. They also had beautiful red bell peppers, perfect for a Greek salad.

I read a heartwarming story.  Columbia Sportswear CEO Tim Boyle cut his salary to $10,000 so that retail employees can receive their regular pay.  At least 10 top executives took a voluntary 15% pay reduction.

I just watched with Thatch the first two episodes of Sanditon

Plenty of references to characters in other novels would tell you - if you didn't know - that it's a Jane Austen work, although in her novels the cruelty lying under the social veneer may be more subtle.  I like the cast, and I haven't minded the music so much this time.  The truly god-awful  score for a good adaptation of a 19th century novel is the BBC Vanity Fair from 1998.  Absolutely horrendous.

I emailed the link to Rob Berman.  I hope he gets a hoot from it.  I'm sorry that you will miss seeing it.

DR Vixmom I am relieved you were able to get your medication quickly.

I suggest ordering your refills ahead of the date.  By doing this I have slowly acquired an extra month of meds.

With my insurance you can only get a refill 5 days before you run out.  But in this case there weren't even any refills left so I couldn't just order one from the pharmacy.

My doctor must have submitted the new prescription immediately after I called and I guess with all the quarantining going on the insurance waived the 5 day rule, or maybe it didn't count because it was new prescription not a refill
