With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.

No word back and singdaw hasn't come back to test whether his old name is fine.  I presume they're working on it, but why it takes so long is anyone's guess.

It took me awhile to find the image box since it has been moved.

I tested mine, BK, and there's still nothing.

Can anyone find the calendar?  I hope we haven't, or won't, miss any Dear Reader's birthdays.

Damn right, as someone very special is celebrating on Monday (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, say n'more).

And by celebrating, I of course mean falling further into a state of denial.

You have to log into the old board with your previous screenname and password.  Then it's at the top and bottom of each page.

I'm on this board with my previous info.  How do I get to the old board?

Now, if there is a way to merge our two profiles into the same...that would be nice.  But I'm not holding my breath. :)

Oh my...too much to learn in too short of a time!

I have so much to do but I want to watch the debates, too!

Anyway, I am coming up to NY for a very brief trip tomorrow, 2 nights only, to meet with the director I'm working with on the Mercer project. My schedule is totally up in the air, which makes it hard to plan anything, but I think I will know more once I get up there. I'll be staying down in the village, Greg will be home with the kitties. So I'm hoping there will be windows of opportunity to catch up with FLJ, Elmore, Jose & Ben (I'll be near his place). Singdaw and Vixmom, I'm afraid to plan anything too far in advance since you're not as close but if there's a time when I know I don't have to be somewhere I would love to see any and all!
