To boo at all is most unseemly. Maybe Mr Barkalot can take away the function. but please leave the modify function. I use it so often. Infallible I am most certainly not.

Request: I am soon to make my Christmas gift Cd compilations. I am contemplating making a CD with "BEAR" songs and another with "Bicycles and Wheels". I have the obvious titles like Pushbike song, Bicycle Race and Simon Smith.., Dancing Bear and Teddy Bear (Let me Be Your) but need more and "Google" is not much help.

Surely the score from Goldilocks would be apropos.

Work is commencing on the building of a new shrine for a new arrival on Thursday. Bob the builder says that his gang will work like the devil to be finished on time.

Good thought Jay. I have just remembered that I should have some Pooh Bear songs somewhere too. Perhaps if I play "Honey" some other bear songs will eventuate.

Thinking about Neil Simon musicals today made me think of THEY"RE PLAYING OUR SONG.

If they'd make a movie musical of this, who would be good as the two leads?

I'd vote for Jim Carrey and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I'm glad to hear about the Plaid Tidings CD. My regret, however, is that BK is not recording it. I've always wished he had recorded the first Plaid cd.

Today I spent from 11 am to 6:30 pm in a "lunch meeting." Thought you'd all like to know that.

Thanks DR Ann. Inadvertently you have reminded me of my "Yogi Bear" songs. (A Boo Boo reference)

I would vote for never making a movie of "They're Playing My Song". Not one of my fond memories of theatre or of a score. To each his own.

I'm with you, Tom from Oz.  I thought They're Playing Our Song was, as my grandmother might have said, a schtick dreck.

Jay: And I thought I was alone. The show was so successful here with the bus tour crowds. And to think they wouldn't get an audience for "She Loves Me".

Sorry you guys didn't care for THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG. I thought it was slight but charming, and I like every single song in Hamlisch's score.

DR Jason, were you born at midnight? Or are you just going by at midnight, it'll be the start of the day you were born. I mean, I was born at approximately 9 a.m., so on my birthday, I wait until then to ignore it (at my age, those numbers get to be depressing though I feel about half my real age.)
