This morning at coffee I told the guy who is some sort of owner/executive of our local casino that I have a friend who takes picture of casino carpets....his response was "Casino carpeting? Are you kidding me?" He was baffled until I said "They are all very ugly, have you really paid attention to them" then he started laughing

Today I asked the guy who provided the box of chocolates that I won yesterday where he had gotten them. Big Lots!

The message here is that Big Lots is a great place to buy cheap DVDs, but I very bad place to buy chocolates.

The Monarch Scientist's son is having major surgery on Friday. She is quite worried, and I told her that I would send her links to funny youtube clips to keep her distracted while she's waiting in the waiting room. She will have computer access there.
