Only Stella stopped by, too often on her way to wreak havoc somewhere in the apartment. Annabelle finally dropped in around four o'clock to crawl under the blankets and snuggle up to me until she got warm.

Stella decided to climb into one to get to the roll of paper towels I keep there for emergencies ranging from my spills to Annabelle's hairballs. In her attack on the paper towels she knock a ton of books onto the floor.

Last night I fast-watched the Blu-ray. I started later than I’d wanted to, so I watched some scenes all the way through while fast-forwarding through others in an attempt to spot the differences in the extended version. I don’t find any place on the internet where anyone has itemized the differences, which is surprising. But I didn’t spot additional scenes, just extended dialogue. Of course, doing it this way, I could well have missed things.

Aside from the version, I felt I was seeing for the first time how colorful and beautifully shot this movie is. I was never distracted by anything like the digital messes found on Marnie and Family Plot.

Greatly enjoyed it, and was as properly taken in by the turns of events as I was my first time. Love when that happens.

I had a similar dream, but it involved one of my ladies' groups meeting in person in our home. I was trying out different tablecloths and welcoming some members and the speaker. We eventually realized that it was a Zoom meeting and we were missing it and virtual attendees were missing the speaker. And one of my favorite tablecloths had a big hole in it!

I have been attacked, or they were after my dog, not always sure. I have screamed and DR John, you never really get over it.

I was terrified of large dogs when I was young. The fear began when I would walk our little dog and big dogs would come chasing after our dog who then ran in-between my legs leaving me to face the dog. I was small and they were almost as big as I was.

Now I also worry dogs will knock me over playing.

Usually when that happens I just pause to see what the dog will do and then begin walking again. As I walked away the owner said the dog just hadn't received enough love for the day. I stopped, called the dog, and oh my the sounds that came out of him as he ran for pets. He sounded like a cross between a growl and a purr.

I have these regularly. Have had hundreds of them. I don't think this is one that will land me in the hospital.

If my dog was off leash I called the dog back until I knew a walker was ok with it. The same goes for other walkers with their dogs on a leash. I would get my dog back on the leash.

A few times Sherlock got away from me and ran up to a little dog on a leash. Instead of yelling my dog is harmless, which people don't believe anyway, I yelled don't worry even if your dog attacks him he won't fight back. Not only did the people appreciate what I yelled they were amazed how good their normally frightened or aggressive little dog was was with Sherlock. :)
The others thanked Sherlock for not attacking back at the aggressive dog.

I read her a couple of her favorite psalms, which she appreciated.

My sister Annaliese is there for a short while. She was debating whether to stay, but this hospital's covid hours are strict. She has to leave at 7:30 p.m. and wait until after 10 a.m. before she's allowed back in. So, she's going back home. She'll try to drive back to Louisville when they release Mom.

Interesting soup in that it includes an apple in there and you finish it off with coconut milk. Kinda Thai and vegan.

One phone conversation, made pasta with meat, onions, butter, and cheese and it was really good - but I'm right about the 12 oz. pasta box - clearly says 200 calories per cup, which means a total of 1200 for the box or six cups. I did two-and-a-half cups yesterday (I have a proper measuring cup) and today the remaining pasta in the box was barely two cups - so, they're clearly shorting the consumer and it's always that way. I had another box so I did a half-cup from that box, which should result in 550 calories.
