Kitty cleanup is accomplished, and I will have a bit of breakfast before I make the bed. I need to go to the lobby and pick up a couple of packages, and then I plan to have a day of idle luxury.
I had an extended dream last night of the classic "unprepared" variety: I was going on with a symphony orchestra. I didn't have the proper concert attire and also had lost my music...
And one of my favorite tablecloths had a big hole in it!
I think I’m taking a nap.
Tonight is tech/costumes/props night.....I hope it will go smoother than I thin it will.
Sorry about your scare, DR John G. Glad that the owner has their dog so well-trained.
I have never personally been attacked, but dogs I have been walking have been attacked by loose dogs. It is a scary experience.
Don't know if embedded gif files work here. I found this in my research:
I am not working tomorrow; I have a biopsy of the sinus growth scheduled.
Dealing with a kidney stone. Ugh. Oh well, the timing is good. I see my kidney doc tomorrow.
Thanks, DR John G., and I'm sorry to read your news. I know how terribly uncomfortable that can be.
Do you have any old pain meds left over that can tide you through?

I have been attacked, or they were after my dog, not always sure. I have screamed and DR John, you never really get over it.
I was terrified of large dogs when I was young. The fear began when I would walk our little dog and big dogs would come chasing after our dog who then ran in-between my legs leaving me to face the dog. I was small and they were almost as big as I was.
Now I also worry dogs will knock me over playing.
Woke up from my nap to texts that Mom is in the hospital. They don't know yet what happened, but she may have had a mini-stroke, which they're looking into and which may have caused her to fall. She complained of rib pain, so they're checking that out as well.
Abe Vigoda seemed like a neat person to know. Druxy, congrats on your play.

It didn't miraculously restore my beauty, however.
I talked with Mom earlier. She's very weak. They're going to keep her for 2 to 3 days. The first day is to watch her reaction to the medicine they gave her, so she'll be in ICU for that stretch.
I read her a couple of her favorite psalms, which she appreciated.
My sister Annaliese is there for a short while. She was debating whether to stay, but this hospital's covid hours are strict. She has to leave at 7:30 p.m. and wait until after 10 a.m. before she's allowed back in. So, she's going back home. She'll try to drive back to Louisville when they release Mom.

It is extra hard with covid. It is good your mother is able to use her phone. I hope she has her charger with her.
Continued vibes.
Vibes for DR JohnG's mom!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am bored of stupidity.

It's not her phone. Mom really doesn't do anything digital.

Honestly, when I'm NOT the dumbest one in the room, it kinda scares me.
Here are the boys! Looking good after their afternoon at the groomer. Ben is on the left and Leo is on the right.

I have a pot of butternut squash soup on the stove that's just about ready. Not everything cooked at the same time, which is actually OK. Interesting soup in that it includes an apple in there and you finish it off with coconut milk. Kinda Thai and vegan.

I am pleased to announce ABE VIGODA, the 32nd play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS Collection.
Aside from being my long time publicity client, ABE VIGODA was a good friend. I knew him from the very early days of "Barney Miller" through the rest of his life.
As with most people, I first became aware of Abe when he played "Tessio" in THE GODFATHER. He was a 50-year-old (unknown) actor when he made that now classic film, who had been working on stage and in television for well over 25 years.
Instant stardom! ;)
As you might imagine, ABE VIGODA is a rather special play for me. It's available in paperback and Kindle editions via Amazon.
Production rights are available.

George, Bad Salsa was my mom’s favorite. I thought Christina Rae was a shoo-in. I didn’t much care for the country-rock duo. They were good, but it was all covers and not in any new way. But maybe that’s what voters liked. I loved the poet, but found him an odd fit on the show.
The answer to life, the universe, and everything.
Sleep has eluded me now for nigh on three hours.
I am not working tomorrow; I have a biopsy of the sinus growth scheduled.
MEGA VIBES THE BIOPSY GOES WELL AND THE RESULTS ARE BENIGN!

The poet was an odd fit, but even though I'm not a poetry fan, I thought that it was kinda cool that a new genre was even making its way in the competition.
The answer to life, the universe, and everything.
Actually, it's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. But of course, no one knows the question. ;)

What are the two of you talking about?
I don't know if this will be the end of the series or not.
I've been watching Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I found that it is the last season. :(
It says 2013-2020.
