Jose, twice yesterday you wrote that you were feeling rather coldish. Both times I read that you were feeling rather clodish.
And the word of the day is: EDACIOUS!
Mine would look something like this:

I think it's time to fill out a 2010 census form and get the US government off my back.
Utah GOP Leader Resigns After $150G Nude Hot-Tubbing Payoff
SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah's House majority leader resigned from the Legislature Saturday, two days after his confession about sitting nude in a hot tub with a teenage girl 25 years ago stunned this conservative state.
Republican Rep. Kevin Garn, in an e-mail message to House Speaker David Clark, apologized for becoming a distraction.
…
Garn said he paid the woman, Cheryl Maher, $150,000 to keep quiet about the episode when he unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2002.
But the now 40-year-old Maher began calling local news media last week to tell them about being naked with Garn when she was 15. Garn is more than 14 years older than Maher, who now lives in Derry, N.H.
What is it with these "perfect people" in Utah?

Note to Ms Maher - taking $150,000 in hush money means you keep your mouth shut! Didn't you learn about "values" in Utah?

I'm assuming Kevin is Jake's son or Grandson.
(Jake) Garn married Hazel Rhae Thompson in 1957. Together, they had four children: Jacob, Susan, Ellen, and Jeffrey. Hazel was killed in a car accident in 1976. Garn was remarried in 1977 to Kathleen Brewerton, who had a son, Brook, from a previous marriage. Jake and Kathleen had two more children, Matthew and Jennifer. Garn has 18 grandchildren: Ryan, Allison, Kirsten, Spencer, Carlie, Hannah, Mckenzie, Daniel, Lauren, Nathan, Caitlin, Savannah, Collin, Erik, Taylor, Summer, Koa, and Abigail.
Basically, all it asks for is your name, address, age, the type of dwelling in which you live and how many people live in your dwelling. If there is more than one person you fill out their name age, sex and their relationship to you. There is room for 7 (IIRC) entries and instructions to attach a separate sheet if there are more than 7
Wild caught Alaskan Sockeye and Coho salmon:
Fillets are available in sizes from 1/2 to 1 pound. We are buying the fish direct from the fisherman. All portions were frozen quickly after being caught to preserve the fresh taste and health benefits. Orders may be placed immediately for pick-up on Monday and Tuesday.
The Sockeye, also known as red salmon, is a deep red color and is very flavorful. The Coho, also known as silver salmon, is pink and has a softer texture and milder flavor. Both are delicious! The salmon are harvested sustainably in the cold, clean North Pacific waters along the Kenai Peninsula. They are then vacuum packed without artificial colorings or preservatives.
The sale of salmon is not part of the CSA program. Please bring your payment to pick-up.
Please order fillets in the following size ranges:
8 - 10 ounces
10 - 12 ounces
12 - 14 ounces
14 - 16 ounces
Please specify Sockeye or Coho. The price for all sizes of both species is 11.00/lb.
As with most fish, you may find a few small, thin bones.
I just saw the most incredible news story on tv:
Plane Hits, Kills Man on South Carolina Beach
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- A 38-year-old father of two was jogging and listening to his iPod when he was hit from behind and killed by a small plane making an emergency landing on the beach, officials said Tuesday.
Robert Gary Jones of Woodstock, Ga., was killed instantly on Hilton Head Island on Monday evening, said Beaufort County Coroner Ed Allen.
The single-engine plane had lost its propeller and the pilot's vision was blocked by oil on the windshield, Allen said.
Jones was married and had two children, the coroner said.
"Apparently he did not see nor hear the plane," Allen said. "The plane was basically gliding."
Hilton Head fire and rescue spokeswoman Joheida Fister said the identities of the pilot and a passenger on the Experimental Lancair IV-P plane were not released. The two were not injured.
The plane started leaking oil at about 13,000 feet and tried originally to make it to Hilton Head Airport, Fister said.
The oil on the windshield blocked the pilot's vision and he told authorities the propeller came off the plane. When he tried to land on the beach near the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, the plane hit the jogger and came to rest a little farther down the beach, she said.
...
Our census form arrived today. There are a lot of choices for "race" this time around. Yet I wonder what Mr. Goldstein will mark for Mae-Ling and Wae-Ling.
JMK, I think the plane was gliding, and therefore would not have made much noise. One hardly expects to be hit by a plane while jogging on the beach.
I think it's time to fill out a 2010 census form and get the US government off my back.
I was irked that the Census questions of 1980, 1990, and 2000 were too invasive so I refused to participate -

I'm still undecided on PARENTHOOD.

As a genealogist, Keith would be horrified. It seems to me you didn't have to answer the offending questions & responded with NOB (none of your business).;)

Our census came today. I am filling it out with DERBRUCER's data. ;)
Good news from Jane!
Man, another low posting day - are we in the March doldrums? Has haineshisway.com run its course?
Our census came today.
Our census came today.
As did ours.
A BIG waste of money was the letter we received last week telling us it would arrive soon. ::)
Today I took a letter from my physical therapist to my surgeon. The letter contained my latest, newly improved, stats on how I'm doing. The surgeon was very pleased, and even more excited when he looked at my x-rays.
All I know is I have not seen days this low in several years, since the beginning of this board. I find it disconcerting, frankly.
I'm telling you, the day we hit a new low is the day I do something that might be perceived as unpopular with the populace. We've lost too many people I like and we've had only a couple of people come here recently (I'm working on more, believe me) and the one thing I will not allow this site to do is die a slow, lugubrious death.
Personally, I blame the Republicans!
And George is going to have to get a little more descriptive with his BRAIN rehearsal posts.

You don't want me to nitpick, do you?? It's just the very beginning of rehearsal and literally all we did last night was sing through all the chorus music (sight-read, actually), but we didn't work on learning the exact rhythms or notes...hopefully we will eventually, but we didn't last night. ::)
The replacement in my sister's position started work today in our unit.

That's fantastic. I hope the person works out well. What happened to the job freeze? I thought both positions were going to be left empty. Was it "only" one position?

Now that is a little more descriptive. You could also talk about how cute the director happens to be.
I also enjoyed the photos of DR GEORGE's new shelves. Very nice. They are certainly more level than they would have been had I installed them.
What a relief for you. Lost as in let go or he left and has returned?

He was riffed from our office when the position was eliminated, and he was sent back to the dreaded Welfare Office (Siberia) for the last year.

We were shaking our heads over that one. We keep reading how expensive the census has been-no wonder.
Oh it was insane. The coffee cup is a nice insulated cup for you car. i was shocked at the amount of stuff.
Of course that didn't stop me from picking up one of each....the money was already spent
I just finished the most wonderful dinner. I had Fresh Alaskan Cod Veracruz Style.Sounds good. Had a bowl of Tomato-Celery-Apple Soup. Am trying to see if I can last a day without sugar. Only a few more hours to go.
Interesting soup combo John G. Was it good?I make it all the time. Soften an onion, half a bunch of celery and an apple for 10 mintues in a little olive oil. Add 1 1/2 pints veggie stock and 32 ounces canned Italian tomatoes. bring to a boil and simmer another 20 minutes. Then put in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper to taste. That's it.
Now, was that so hard?
LOL DR Jose

Well, it was a gorgeous day here in NYC today! I spent my lunch hour just walking around midtown. And tomorrow's forecast is supposed to gorgeous-er! And 66 degrees! I suspect I will be spending a couple of hours in Central Park tomorrow.
Speaking of driving, DerBrucer I'm glad to see you are getting out.
I had a great day today, actually. a couple new clients and two of my clients in removal proceedings (deportation) asked for a hearing. The FIRST available date for people out on bond is March 6, 2012...yup two years from now. So, they'll be here on bond for two years before getting a hearing. Pretty amazing
I'm jealous of your walks in Central Park. I can't wait until I can go back to NYC and spend some time playing there. I'd love it if you could post some Central Park photos tomorrow
Mine would look something like this:

So who will that affect how they fill out their census forms?
;) :-\ ::)
It should ask what you do for a living-very sad.
