Last night, or rather this morning, I didn't fall asleep until around 5:00 and here I am once again wide awake.

Good morning, all!  Around 9:30, I will head to the 11:00 rchestra reading of Paint Your Wagon.  I like to get there, set my materials out, help Joshie with anything he needs, and visit with friends.  I have invited our DR ChasSmith, and I believe he will be there, but I know I will see as well my good friend Bruce Pomahac and others.

My printer is running again, and I'm printing out 2014 invoices before I go.

I was very nervous this morning. My nine year old niece was in a public speaking competition at her school. In each class every teacher chose one person to present in French and one person to present in English.  There are 4 classes in her grade.  So there were 8 kids from her grade and 8 kids from the grade below.

Usually she does well under pressure. But it's still hard not to be nervous, especially since she had some issues while practicing it last night.

I was happy when my sister called to say that she did it the best she's ever done it.  Her English teacher was so happy as was her English teacher last year.  She got second place and got a plaque and a Chapters gift card. She was very pleased with herself. I am looking forward to watching the video.

Friday morning greetings!  I'm waiting for a call from my hairdresser Tina.  Hoping to have a haircut today or tomorrow.

If I get to watch a DVD, it'll probably be the Ben Vereen-William Katt version of Pippin.

I have nothing in any of my entertainment devices because I am learning my lines for ANTIGONE.....my next rehearsal is Sunday, the day after DR GINNY gets her haircut.

At least it is.....if it doesn't snow.

And the word of the day is: INUTILE!

And The Song Of The Day Is: SOMETHING STUPID

I know I stand in line,
Until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance,
I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me

And afterwards we drop into
A quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all,
By saying something stupid
Like "I love you".

AND I have been cast in a new musical written by some theatre/music majors at DePauw.  It is titled ACCOUNTANTS.......I am the janitor who skulks around the offices, and at the end of the show I am revealed to be an undercover FBI agent who has been getting the good on the embezzlers and crooks.....  That happens at the end of April after ANTIGONE.

Yeah, DR JRand, we're keeping an eye on that, too.  Fr. Richard is all ready for a Lima Sunday, but that may not happen - again.
