A Very Happy Birthday to DR Danise!! ;D

Thank you, Dear George.  I wish you much leg breakage, rave reviews, and many happy memories on (or should that be "in"?) your Brain.   I just wish I could be there.

Thank you, Danise!!

I'm now leaving work and must run a couple of errands before meeting BK and David Wechter and TCB and MBarnum and (eventually) Ann, here in Olympia!!  Pictures will be taken and eventually posted.

Until later! ;D

And, es[ecoally for CillaLiz:

A good example of creative reuse:

A long established church, that rebuilt for more room outside of town, has been converted into a Performing Arts Center, a small mall of speciality shops, and a few apartments

Nice pictures, Der Brucer. Looks like you had a nice walk today.

Actually, that walk was Tuesday - it's much more crowed today now that Mother's Day weekend is upon us.

Today's exercise consisted a potting a bunch of tomato plants and then walking to the store to meet Woody.

Danise, you don't sound too upset so I'm guessing the fight was more noise than bite. :)

It was a bit of a knock down drag out but no skin was broken/no blood.  One I had enough, I stood up and did a bit of yelling and Toby got his little butt spanked for snapping not only at Sheena but me as well.  He thought he was on a roll but I showed him who is the real leader of the pack.  It never fails to amaze me how a few swats (not very hard) on the Attitude Adjustment Area (AKA the butt) can be used on both children and dogs to correct many problems.  :)

Once that was over, everything settled down and now all is well.

Yes, she was VERY nice.  I wrote the zoo and told them about her.  I don't know if I ever told you that I did that.  I got a very nice email back (not from her but the director) who thanked me for taking the time to write and let them know.  I'm sure he passed my words of praise along to her.

Snapping isn't good.  Sherlock does not get upset when I'm upset with him.  I find it rather annoying.

My book arrived today!  I'm listening to the CD right now.  Since I'm working tomorrow and going to dinner afterwards, I don't think I'll start reading till Sunday--looking forward to it!

DR der Brucer, thank you for the charming spring walk around your town.

Now I need to get up the "daring" to take the dogs with me - they haven't learned not to tug on a leash when they get excited, but I think my chest muscles can probably take the strain by now.

I know what you mean.  Sherlock has pulled my arm too hard a few times.  It doesn't bother me as much now.  He doesn't even have to pull hard.  If he decides to walk towards something I get dragged along.  I remember when I thought it would be fun to have a dog that weighs more than I do. Well, it is cool to be able to say it :)

Which dog is the easiest to walk?
