DD Miss Dixie Bell feels honored, to say the least.

Woof, woof!

(It's Not that Easy) Bein' Green (Joe Raposo)

It's not that easy being green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold
Or something much more colorful like that

It's not easy being green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
Or stars in the sky

But green's the color of Spring
And green can be cool and friendly-like
And green can be big like an ocean, or important
Like a mountain, or tall like a tree

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful
And I think it's what I want to be

Obviously, it's time to go.

Am staying home today with major sinus issues. Nothing works to stem the flow.  Nothing.

Well...nothing that doesn't knock me out.

Awww.... They are showing some "Irish" dogs on "The Today Show" right now.  -Seven of the eight Irish breeds that are registered with the American Kennel Club.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Jose, I saw that also. However, I thought the wolfie was a bit on the small side.  A close freind of mine has three of them on her farm. Very nice dogs to have but they do need a lot of space and food.

She also has an Irish terrier. Game little dogs!

My favorite Brandon de Wilde film is 1959's BLUE DENIM, the turgid story of teenage pregnancy!

and you also get Carol Lynly, Warren Berlinger, and Roberta Shore in the cast!!

I have just ordered some indian food for lunch. Soon I will begin a load of laundry. So much more enjoyable than sitting in a staff meeting.

You are killing me with kindness, sir. Cheers.

The referenced gal is none other than Joan Manners, who is a fellow Randy Newman fan AND a mutual friend of Amy.

Gee, only seven GUESTS after all those phantom GUESTS last night.

I happen to know for a fact that several of those mystery GUESTS last night were, in fact, merely guests.

Question for the all of you:

You've perhaps seen this in a popular book or movie:

Based on highly compelling evidence, Person (A) believes that Person
(B) has killed (A)'s true love, Person (C). So (A) plots revenge
against and ultimately dispatches (B), not realizing what we, the
reader/viewer have known all along: that (B) is innocent of the
original death. Indeed, it may even have been an accident, but more
likely the work of Person (D).

What are the most popular classical and modern examples of this theme?

I love that! My favorites are maize, squash and potatoes, mountain lion, pronghorn and water from the local stream.

I'm watching the swearing in of the new governor of New York.  It's like a pep rally!  And he's telling jokes too!  :)
