Does your neighbor work at night?  I hope the dog isn't being left alone day & night.

This morning we had a pair of mallards, a pair of geese, and a blue heron in our back yard.  Keith went outside to chase the heron & the geese away.  The heron flew into a tree and the geese ignored him.

Hello, From Tuscon:

Sorry I haven't been on-line the past few days, bit DSL Extreme (AVOID THEM) accidentally cut off my Internet access early then wouldn't reconnect it.

Anyway, escrow has closed in both Los Angeles & Austin.

We left for Austin this morning at 5:30 and, after 9 hours on the road, we are now in our hotel.  The animals are a bit shook up, but they seem to be settling down.

Tomorrow, we head for El Paso (with a short stop in Tombstone, so that I can visit the O.K. Corral).  We will arrive in Austin Monday morning.

Funny, after 45 years there, I never thought I'd ever leave Los Angeles.

BK, I forgot to mention:  I have a youthful fondness for 3 Sailors & A Girl.  Still remember the tunes and words to a couple of said mediocre songs: "You better kiss me, kiss me, kiss me or I'll scream!" and "home is where the heart is, wherever you may roam."  I also remember Burt Lancaster's cameo.

Druxy,

Safe journey.  After almost thirty years in LA when I took off, I know the feeling of dislocation.  What kind of animals are you travelling with?

In other news, DR Samantha just completed and passed her 60 hour course and exam that's the first step in getting her real estate license.  She just called and is very excited.

2 dogs (Border Collie & Norforlk Terrier) & 1 cat.

One of my favorite medium dog breeds & one of my favorite small dog breeds.  I just love Coco the Norfolk Terrier who won at both Westminster & Crufts.

My new mouse is more comfortable than my old one, and best of all it doesn't keep freezing on me. :)

I did.  I told him that you probably weren't going to be able to see the show.

He's hysterical as King Herod!

Back from a delightful evening with 2 fundraising friends from Dayton hospitals.  We went with a big group to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, then shopped at Easton Center.  We ended the evening helping to close Nordstrom's, then our hotel shuttle picked us up.  Now we're all crashing to rest up for being talked at all day tomorrow.
