My grandfather used to make something he called chow chow which was green tomatoes and onions and I don’t know what else. I never got the recipe from him, more fool I, and it was in his head , never written. But it was sweet and delicious and I haven’t tasted it’s like in 40 years

I had a rough night of sleep. I'd left the thermostat setting a little too warm, even though it was going down to freezing outside, and when I woke up too warm in the middle of the night I just didn't feel like going to it and changing it. Then I kept waking up from really stupid dreams. Some nights it almost doesn't pay to go to bed.

Yesterday's dress/tech rehearsal of Act 1 of Drowsy was kind of an uphill climb, too, with sound cue issues, mic problems, and I dunno - it was just kind of a slog. We'll see what Act 2 brings this evening.
