...And one other roommate is working all day Sunday, and the other one is also planning on being "occupied" that day.

However...

We'll all get over it eventually.  We always do.

DR Ben-I never thought about removing my google page, thanks for the suggestion.  I want to focus on the ride, not on rushing through it so someone doesn’t spoil it for me, which in a way has already happened.

As usual, we went with friends to the big theater with Stadium Seating to see THE ORDER OF THE PHEONIX.  Since their granddaughter is visiting, of course she joined us,  they will be attending the HP Midnight Madness at our local bookstore.  Good for me as they will collect my pre-paid book so I don’t have to drive all the way into town in the morning, just a few minutes to their house.

Hate to tell you this, TPunk, but it's not the most relaxing episode of the season!

She might not relax but she will definitely stop thinking about the dog incident.

TPunk, I'm glad the child was ok.

I've had quite a wonderful day. I finished two charts, then Josh Grisetti stopped by to visit and we talked about reasons for the cancellation of THE KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY: fascinating dish.  He's been in hold with the sitcom for the past six months, lost a lead in another sitcom as well as a role in GREASE on Broadway because of the KNIGHTS situation.

After that, HARRY POTTER with Charlotte.  What a good movie! We really enjoyed it.

Now I'm watching PSYCH: tonight they're doing in AMERICAN YODEL: a very funny Paula Abdul impersonation, and I love Tim Curry.  As for the two leads, they are getting gayer than Frasier and Niles Crane, gayer than Liberace reading Playgirl in a pink tutu on Rock Hudson's sofa.  They're outrageously silly.

I never thought of myself as mainstream, in fact I always considered myself a theater person, but I didn't enjoy SLINGS & ARROWS.... and I love Paul Gross

I feel so much better now, we didn't enjoy it either.  I was ok with it, Keith didn't care for it at all.

I still like Paul Gross :)

It was less complicated to deliver them than send them. I'll check!

And thanks to all for the congrats on my revived iPod.  As much as I've dug into the insides of PCs and VCRs and such, I was pretty shakey when opening up and switching the drives on the iPod.  I'm feeling pretty happy about this DYI project.

You should be-congrats!

And speaking of chocolate...

The World’s Best Candy Bars? English, of Course

This is from this week's NY Times Dining & Wine section. It's a fun read, and has some good information about "chocolate formulations" and preferences.  And although it does not mention Violet Crumble bars, it does mention their close cousin Crunchie bars. :)

So did we.  It was nice to see Daniel Radcliffe grow as an actor.

Violet Crumble is/was very much a local candy here. It was produced by Hoadley who were taken over by Nestlé not that long ago. I think people of my generation see "Crunchie" as a second choice.

I see Crunchie as a second choice too.

-And I still remember being very pleasantly surprised to find Violet Crumble bars in the 7-11s in Los Angeles.

Although, I do remember being advised by a clerk at Tea & Sympathy that if I wanted something close to a Violet Crumble, that I should just unwrap a Crunchie bar and leave it out overnight.  ;)

I thought Violet and Cookie Crumble replaced the Dolly Sisters in their Little Eva and Topsy Act.
