Now, now, boys - no fighting in the schoolyard!

I am not fighting, Panni.  I could care less if SWW has seen THE GODFATHER or not.  I have never seen THE GODFATHER, either.  I was only making reference to his mention of the film 8 MILE and its star, Eminem.

Jrand, the Bic pen mole idea could work, or I could buy this set of dolls that are currently on sale on eBay--one of them is supposedly a Honey West.

Kind of looks like a set of Kill Bill dolls.

You're misremembering.
I saw the first Lord of the Rings movie and didn't like it.
Then the second Lord of the Rings movie came out, and people kept telling me "It's SO MUCH better than the first one.  Even if you didn't like the first one, you'll like this one."  So, I tried to see it, but gave up after about an hour, bored out of my mind.  When the third one came out, everybody said "It's SO MUCH better than the previous films.  Even if you didn't like the first two..." But, at this point, they'd lost all credibility.  I'd given the Rings trilogy about four hours of my time, and wasn't rewarded.

Ask anybody, just about, and they'll list The Godfather as one of the top ten American movies.  I love it, and I don't like violence, gangster films, James Caan, Abe Vigoda or Nino Rota.  You've your head in the sand if you don't give it a try.

If I have inadvertantly offended anyone this evening (Panni, SWW, Eminem, Mario Puzo, the estate of the late Marlon Brando), I do apologize.  I guess between performances for one show, rehearsals for the next, and trying to squeeze in the holidays besides; I am very tired.  And when I am tired, I don't always say things on paper (or computer) the way I mean them to sound.

Good Night

I for one was not in the least bit offended. I have to be ADVERTENTLY offended to be offended. No stinkin' inadvertent slights for me, no sir. You gotta put some effort into it.

Hey, where'd everybody go? You'd think it was midnight (3 AM on the right coast) or something.

Well, I think I got it all!  I broke it up into chunks (there are seven) and had to break in the middle of songs, but I chose songs for which I had recordings, so I can just drop in the songs from my CDs.

Pretty darned cool show, BK!!  And I loved the What If selections, as well as Sweet Charity in Dutch!  I don't have any Dutch musicals, but I do have Rent in Icelandic! ;D

I'm back, and to prove it, I'm here.  I've caught up on all the posts and now I must hurry and write the notes and get them posted.

I'm tired. I just ate some leftover popcorn. I don't think what I'm writing makes sense anymore. Perhaps I should quit for the night. Maybe the elves will finish it!

So BK, were you able (will you be able) to get a copy of the show for yourself?
