Sherlock and I had an exceptionally lovely walk on this beautiful day.

I was lucky at the used book store as all my books were accepted in trade.  I found four new books from my LONG list of books to purchase.

Once I have a new library card I should be able to reduce the list even more :)

. It's going to be cold tonight.

How cold - we're predicted to go to 41 over the weekend.

What the fat hell? Since 2:45 when I got back from errands, I've had 5 unsolicited phone calls. I thought there was now a lwa against this crap.

I must write up today's movie and then head back down to watch something else before TV tonight. I think I may finally get to the CINERAMA documentary which I hadn't had time to watch when I viewed HOW THE WEST WAS WON a couple of weeks ago.

DR JoseSPiano - when your mom wakes up, tell her we all said, "Hi!"    :D

I don't have "The bone Ranger." Perhaps you will lend me yours?

He buried that one long ago.

Early voting couldn't have been easier or more convenient. The voting place was not far from my house. We got there about 25 minutes early and were out in 10 minutes.

The parking at my usual polling place during Presidential elections is always a nightmare, and there is anywhere from a 45 minute to 1 hour wait almost always for the big elections.

So tell us, who'd ya vote fer?

Well, it's suppertime here at the hospital - meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn - and I'll be heading over to Steve's place for my own dinner. I think we're going to Joe's Inn - I've been craving the Spaghetti a la Greek.  My Dad will stay here until 8:00, and then we'll head back here in the morning. So...

They did not, in fact, turn off the electricity, which is a good thing.

I also received a nice follow-up email from the Frances Farmer Day guy, clarifying that all presentations will be to de-bunk the lies and allegations, which makes me feel a lot better.

Friday afternoon greetings from Carrollton, GA!  We checked into the hotel a little over an hour ago, and so did my cousin from Japan (groom's brother).  He helped us with the luggage and now my mom and aunt are taking naps and I'm in the business center.  Our drive was very smooth - it took us a full 10 hours, but we stopped several times.

Thanks for all the vibes!

None of the calls were political although I'd love to get one of the McCain calls causing a ruckus yesterday.

MAN EATS 15-LB. BURGER
For completing the challenge in the under-five-hour time limit, Sciullo won $400, three T-shirts and a certificate.

I hope the certificate was for weight-watchers.

I just got offered the MD position for The Producers at Portland's biggest musical company for next summer.  Closing weekend is the Saturday of Gabe's Bar Mitzvah, so I need to work out some scheduling issues before I accept.
