So sorry DR Jane.  It doesn't mean Sherlock won't live a very long life

Echo was 10 & we are hoping for at least that with Sherlock.  He had a grandfather that made it to 12.  This is the downside of the breed but they are worth ever second we have with them. :)

Sorry for the abrupt departure this morning - I was making an unauthorized venture here and had to skeddaddle lest I be found out

The Vixter alsas ddi not land the part of her dreams but had to settle for the part of French princess who apparently is very popular although she can only say one word - "YES"

She was musing about the part and saying "I don't understand why everyone would want to be with a girl who could only say one word  of English"

I said  "Um, she can't say "NO""

Her response...

"OH LAWD!  I'm Princess ADO ANNIE!!!!!"

Very charming!  LOL!

>:( The letter from my insurance company telling me that they won't pay for my home health care from last week.  When I told our doctor Monday that I'd heard rumors that this would be coming, he said, "We could have put you in the hospital for the week - that would have been really expensive for the insurance company!"  He also said his office would do what they could to help me appeal.

On the bright(?) side, at least it's nice to know that you're insurance company works fast. :-\

On the real bright side, it's good to know that your doctor is on your side.

*That reminds of the time when my insurance company refused to pay for an ER visit.  Because I was not admitted, they did not think it was an actual "emergency".  If I had been admitted, I would have been fully covered, no questions asked.  ???

Yeah, DR Jose, the doctor(s) better be on my side, because coming home and having visiting nurses was THEIR idea - I'd been taken to a pre-admission room, told to change into a hospital gown, and was about to have an IV when they called and recommended that I go home and they set up the home health care.

Yup, they had better get the insurance to pay up!

B
Well, it's a little after 10:00pm here in Memphis, but my body and brain is most definitely still on NYC time - where it's currently after 11:00pm. -Which is a good thing since I really want and need to get a good night's sleep tonight.  And since I'm already sleepy, I think I should log off and shut down and get ready for bed before I find myself surfing the web during the wee hours of the morning.

Goodnight.

But I'm on EST too (NY time) and it's 10:26 here. I'm very confused.

Michael, she had a wonderful rapport with many of the actors. I especially loved her work with Kristian and Melissa.

I started watching DAYS OF OUR LIVES during my second year of college and continued with it for the rest of college. There was an article in TV GUIDE about her that said she smoked cigars.

Thanks for the insurance company vibes, all!  One of their reasons for the denial was that I "declined to learn medication therapy that can be taught to a non-skilled patient or caregiver."  Yes, I did turn my nose up at the idea of giving myself injections in my stomach - who wouldn't?

I just read that Frances Reid from Days of Our Lives passed away. La Grand Dame is gone. I hope they give her a grand send off and bring back as many characters they can. She deserves it.

I used to watch it when I was younger and although I had stopped watching it I always enjoy the updates from my friends who still watch the show

DR Michael S - If you had read the posts from last night, you would have seen that DR Dakota Celt had already beaten you to the punch back then.

I was going to mention that, too.

Really good Grey's Anatomy tonight

It irritated the hell out of me until Cristina's scene late in the show. More about my feelings in a minute.

I finished the bonus features on THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND. There were two more featurettes and the trailer, so not much left to watch which gave me a nice little chunk of time to watch some other things on the DVR.

First I watched last night's MODERN FAMILY. Another really hilarious episode, especially the gym stuff and Phil's mustache and porta-potty dilemma. Laughed constantly throughout the episode. This show has some of the sharpest writing on TV, just filled with witticisms.

Next I watched UGLY BETTY. Enjoyed seeing Vanessa Williams' brother play her in drag. Very entertaining. The Betty-Daniel spat was typically silly and worked out by the end of the episode.

Tuned into tonight's BONES episode next.

My heart broke when Temperence thought she had found a kindred spirit at the clinic only to learn he was one of the delusional patients. Interesting case, but I guessed the killer early on.

As for GREY'S ANATOMY, I'm wondering if it's not time for me to check out of this hospital. The behavior is so juvenile, and SO unprofessional so much of the time that I was just screaming at the TV:

Cristina ignoring the page preferring sex after she had already had sex earlier in the day on hospital time.

That Mercy West doctor with her eye on Alex distracting him with her petty insecurities while a patient almost bleeds to death.

Bailey and the anesthesiologist (certain to be her new upcoming love interest) cracking sarcastic jokes during surgery while Meredith was trying to concentrate on a surgery she was nervous about doing.

The Chief acting like a spoiled child instead of manning up and admitting he needs help, blaming Derek instead of being grateful he (and others) were trying to help. But he and Derek arguing while the hospital looked on.

Mark imploring Callie that she's his friend, not LExie's. High school much?

All of these things made me so frustrated and impatient with these doctors and really made it hard for me to sit still for the show.

My work project tomorrow will be the last of the Fox Blu-rays - WALK THE LINE. I really enjoyed this when I saw it, but I haven't seen it since its first appearance on HBO, so I'm looking forward to revisiting it tomorrow.

I think I'm going to have to get some sleep.  I figured out what to do about the problem case I was worried about last night.  I was still angry when I wrote it, so I'll re-read and edit in the morning.
