Well there have been about 50 visitors to the Allison Hayes Internet Biography page....but only DRMBARNUM has signed the guestbook.

Obviously everyone else is just so overcome.

To quote a very famous dessert maven.... "...WHEW !! "....

I have tried for several hours to make a small dent in catching up on posts, but I just can't make it through all of them.  If I travel without a computer for 5 or 6 days, I will just have to accept that I may have to just "jump back in cold" as far as posts.

New York and the "Brain" and seeing friends was as wonderful as it always is.  A very belated "big thank you" to dear Ms.Karen for the wonderful dessert treats at the Brooklyn Diner.

And BK, thanks for your company and laughter, and for restoring my hickey for another 3 months !   ;)

I had a great time at Women's Night Out.   They had all sorts of freebies from food to lotion to health screenings...I got a hot wax treatment on my hands, a make over, bought a necklace, and have lots of goodies. The pork medalions were good. Many at our table were vegetarians and not too thrilled with their dinners, but I was fine.

Judy Carter was hilarious. The woman sitting next to me literally howled through the whole show.  The candidate for mayor asked for my business cards and said she has several people to refer to me.  I'm not sure I support her for the job, although an Hispanic woman mayor would really shake this town up.

Also, very large and genuine thanks are sent to dear DR Laura for being such a mensch and helping me with airport treks !!

And since I had workmen here early this morning, tearing the shit out of my entry and kitchen floors....... and since they are coming back again tomorrow morning to finish up,......

I am going to let Sugar have a pee and then we are going to fall into the sleeping chamber.

Goodnight studlies and lovelies and vixens and sirens!   ;D

Are there any DUKES OF HAZZARD fans on HHW?

Not a Dukes fan, but I do have all of Tom Wopat's CDs and I'd like to make hay with John Schneider.

Not really, just a fan of the Dukes themselves.
My college buddy, Chris Hensel spent a season or two on DUKES, during the sans Wopat/Scheider times. . .

Oh! Did he get to know Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer, the replacement dukes!! If so I want to know all the details!

And of course DR td....Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle) played Frances Farmer's husband (and Bobby Driscoll's father) in "The Party Crashers" featuring another favorite of DR MBARNUM Gene Persson.

PRIVATE PRACTICE once again had me divided in my feelings.

The central story with the children was involving. The other stuff was so juvenile (strippers and bicycles). Is it going to get any better. I'm beginning to wonder.

Any moreso than you did after that dreadful introductory episode last season when Addison went to San Diego and interacted with the characters in this new show?  I sussed it out as a bad idea back then and had no hopes/interest in it as a full-fledged series, especially since Addison was my least favorite character, interloper that she was, on "Gray's Anatomy".

Of course, it beats the pants off "Joey" as a spin-off show.  I'd rather have my eyes prodded with a hot poker than have to watch THAT misfire again.

Construction vibes for DR MUSICGUY.

Here's hoping you have a attractive entry way by this time tomorrow.

I thought "Pushing Daisies" delightful.  No issues here with any part of it, narrator included.

I, too, have reservations about its "sustainability."  But, it's cast is delightful.

He is too busy producing Broadway shows, I guess, to remember driving the big Imperial in The Party Crashers.  8)

I totally didn't know there was a Ray Courts Celebrity show this weekend, and I must say he's got quite an array of folks this time.  I'll trek down there on Saturday to visit.

I'd go to the Ray Courts show just to see Ronnee Blakely!
And Debbie Reynolds!
Elliot Gould!
Tony Curtis!  (well, I've already seen him).
Rex Reason
Brett Halsey
OLIVIA HUSSEY ! ? ! ? ! ? ! (make her sing something from LOST HORIZON).

Oh, bk, you simply must take pictures!

:-\

So... The "roomie" just came home with her boyfriend.  Both of them obviously a bit tipsy.  They come in the downstairs door... The door slams shut... "Sssshhh, I told you, we should be quiet, people are trying to sleep."... They look over at me, I look over at them...  They start going up the spiral staircase.... "Shhh... Don't walk so loud... people are sleeping.. Ssshh...  Shhh..."... And for that last ten minutes or so, a few more doors upstairs have shut quite loudly, things have dropped on the floor, and now they're in the bathroom...

Well, we had a music rehearsal tonight, but...still no sheet music. ::) We learned some choreography for the song that we learned on Sunday, and the music to part of another song and that's about it.  It was fun and even though we STILL don't have any music, I know I need to just go with the flow.  It will be what it will be. ;)

Ginny - About my being relaxed: it was like a sauna in that theatre tonight, and a nice sauna always relaxes me.  :)
