Well, a very quick good morning, greetings of the day, and general "huzzahs" to all of the lovely and sun-dried H/Ks here today.

Marvelous monday ministrations and magic to dear Esteemed, rested, and buffed BK --

And, in doing a crossword puzzle several days ago, I actually came across this definition (verbatim!) ......

34 across...... moon of uranus  .

I not only thought of dear Jose (and lovingly), but I also blame him !

Someone was pointing out that Danny Zuko as a starring role in the stage version is similar in "scope" to Phantom - that while it's a "star" role, it only requires the stamina of a 25-minute performance spread out over the course of the show; the material just makes it feel like the actor is onstage and active more.  I can't really tell from the script - does that sound right to anyone who's done the show?

I'm wondering...since they had the "Dannys" sing "Greased Lightning" on the audition, does anyone think (know?) if they would change the stage show and have him sing it and not Kenickie?  I can just imaging thunderous throngs of the slacker backers yelling "why didn't he sing the song from the TV show"??

Who would want to attend a Broadway show with a theatre full of 'em?

Remember from I Love Lucy:

"Ricky, Fred, we're revolting!"

"You're not so bad."

So DR JOSE - it's always some young actor.  How come it's never some young lighting technician or some young stage hand.  Those wacky actors just always get the breaks.

Ricky:  Okay heads Lucy and I go, tails you and Ethel go.

Lucy: Oh wait a minute, we're paired off all wrong.

Fred:  Now you tell me.  ;D

And there are many more young actors who are responsible for many other break-ups - low and high profile.

Are we to believe that your home-wrecking days are over?

Fred:  How about a couple of choruses of 'Cow Cow Boogie'?

And once again, I want to point out that whatever Fred Mertz said, Ethel was not fat.  She had a lovely figure.

I've usually heard "gay-la".  Though perhaps that's just me.  :)

I've heard gah-la more often than gay-la.
