Der Brucer has Robber Bridegroom on vinyl, but not on CD.

My bet is that the CD producers simply copied the notes and stuff from the original LP jacket, then added some bonus tracks without updating the info.

Now, if you were, say, going to do a concert somewhere, you could tell her THAT.

Especially if it were, say, in a church.

That would please her very much.  As long as it wasn't a concert at a church where I had to remove any clothing...which would be an odd concert, indeed...

I think that if I did indeed book the show, somehow, she'd manage to find out...

Saturday, elder Grandlad will be in Baltimore for the Pinewood Derby regionals

They had this in Atlanta last weekend. A couple who was at the dinner party in the garden attended so they were late for dinner. The hostess kept saying that they were at the "Pine Box" derby. I thought: "They're racing COFFINS?"

There's a lot of adult musicals that could be written from the Bible.

Yeah, it just made me laugh about her sending out those voiding vibes.

Most people don't need voiding vibes. They need vibes to avoid voiding.

Yeah, I ended up calling under the guise of the "thank you" follow-up (not really a guise, but as my way to lead in to asking about casting), and at first the producer couldn't find his wife, who had all of the casting stuff...then he came back and asked what particular character I had read for...and then after he went back again to find his wife, he came back and told me that "All of the roles have not been cast, but that the director should be making final decisions by this afternoon...and that's all I can tell you."  Then he gave that little "I'm being cleverly ambiguous" laugh and we said our good-byes...

So, at this point, I don't know if he was just being crazy or if he was doing a big wink in my direction...

And at this point, I don't care -- I just wanna know one way or the other!  ::)

Did you (or could you) specifically ask if they call people who are not cast to let them know?

At the "gay-la", we were treated to peformances by The Western Wind, a well-know a cappella sextet.

It was mentioned that this week will see the East Coast premiere of a choral work by Schwartz [setting of a text by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow], and also that Stephen is currently working on an opera.

That is all.

Oh good, he is working on an opera.  Now I won't have to feel guilty about not buying his CDs.

Does anyone have the CD of The Robber Bridegroom?
if you do can you post the track listing as they are heard in the show? There are 6 extra tracks at the end that they didn't bother to put them in the proper position.

If you can wait until I get home tonight, I'm pretty suret that I have the CD.  It's in a box in my living room, but I could look...if you can wait...if someone hasn't already PM'd you the info. :)

I blame Anthony Cooper.

I would much rather blame Anderson Cooper.  In fact, I can think of a whole bunch of things I would like to blame on him.
