Today is a work day.  Oh well.

And tomorrow is the BIG day - the 30th Anniversary Celebration for the Phoenix Theatre.....well it starts tonight, but I am not going until tomorrow.

Q/A - with former actors/directors at 2:30 p.m. - Picnic from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. - then former DR KURT and I are seeing BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON....and then a Reception/Dance from 9:30 until 3 a.m........we shall stay as long as we can take it.....which probably means until about 10 p.m.

Good morning, all! I slept in an hour extra, and I have few plans for the day. The day's priority is laundry, which I'll begin shortly.

Beyond that, I am doing little today; I have an email from our record producer to read and comment on, and I have a bit of ROBERTA work.I also have to make a call to Mami University about an event next weekend.

And as for my weekend...

Well, this is the wrap up of my vacation, and what an amazing vacation it has been. Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and now Chicago. -Or I hashtagged it: #JCSBSPSFC.

Right now, I'm waiting on UPS of all things. Someone wanted/needed to send something to me overnight, so... It's on track to be delivered by 10:00am, so while I'm waiting I'm going to take care of a few emails, and plan the rest of my weekend.

And post here on HHW, of course.

And probably take a shower.

What is definite this weekend is that my friend, Yosh, will be flying in from NYC later today, and tonight we will be dining at Alinea. It's going to be a quite the evening of molecular gastronomy. I haven't researched what the current offerings are, I want it all to be a surprise.

It's also part of my big Thank You to Yosh for letting me have a place to stay in NYC after my landlord told me she was selling the building and gave me the 30-day notice (and while I was out of town too). Thankfully, with the way my gigs lined up out of town, I have not needed a "full-time" apartment over the past 18-months, but Yosh very generously offered me his living room and a futon (and in a great building on the Upper East Side!) to use whenever I was back in NYC. He's truly been one of my Angels lately.

And then tomorrow night, we will be seeing Sunday in the Park with George at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. My friend, Brad, is the musical director, and Linda Stephens in playing the Old Lady/Blair Daniels. I'm looking forward to seeing both of them again. Oh, and Jason Danieley is playing Georges/George, and Carmen Cusack in Dot/Marie. -And I'm pretty sure I'll be a blubbering mess during both act finales. ::)
