« on: September 29, 2012, 12:40:55 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had six musical numbers, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently doing six MOOsical numbers.

Good morning, all!  I was unhappily awake half the night pondering things and it will be a draggy, listless day. I'm pondering staying home, rather than heading down to Toyland, and going there tomorrow.

If I stay here, I'll most likely spend the day puttering about and watching DVDs. Sounds good.

Good morning, all.

For no particular reason, I woke up feeling like the proverbial truck had run over me.  Not sick or anything, but just under the weather enough to let the usual group of friends go to the garlic festival without me whilst I spend the day relaxing.  I've been there many times and the day off from it will be fine.  Right decision.  All is well.

Speaking of tv dinners, I can't recall the brand, but a while back my niece and I got 2 dinners to eat together. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and a brownie. She was so excited. And it was actually quite good. But when we went to eat the brownie there was corn in it. So we wrote a letter to the company where she proclaimed "there was corn in my brownie". They sent us coupons for 2 more dinners. :)

Today former DR KURT and I will be attending DAY LONG festivities celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis....I hope to see some old friends and to irritate some old enemies by my presence.......

What is really nice is that the people who like me do not like DR KURT and the people who like DR KURT do not like me, so by just arriving together and standing beside it other it's win/win for everyone!

The only two people from ALL of the time I have spent there that I really dislike intensely - are DEAD DEAD DEAD.....so hopefully they won't be there.

Good morning, all.

Garlic vibes for ChasSmith. I used to live 10 minutes north of Saugerties in the town of Catskill. If it's not raining, it should be beautiful up there this time of year.

Update: And I didn't see your earlier posting this morning, ChasSmith. Sorry, you're having to miss out on the trip. Hope you feel better soon.

TOD:

The entire score for Cinderella, especially "Stepsisters' Lament" and "A Lovely Night."
"So Far," "Money Isn't Everything" and the title song from "Allegro"
"You Never Had It So Good"
"This Nearly Was Mine"

And if you're doing just Rodgers by himself: "Be My Host," "The Sweetest Sounds" and "Never Say No to a Man"

Saturday morning greetings!  There is nothing on my calendar today and there's not even a Michigan football game to watch.  Think I'll putter in my study and clean up my desk a bit.

that's my demented look. When I don't want to be photographed. have a whole series of those. I believe I was cleaning up after serving a three-course dinner that night.
