I am sorry to contradict all of you but you are wrong

the ONLY way to eat a hotdog is hot off the grill with Gulden's brown mustard and sauerkraut- served on a grilled bun

Exactly.  Well. not the ONLY way.  But this is a simple classic.  I like sauerkraut now and then, but I usually go with a pile of chopped raw onions.  Build from there, but thems are the basics.

A good brand of hot dog like Nathan's or Sabrett's or Hebrew National, and the Gulden's brown, and a bun that's at least a step up from a flaking-apart store brand.  (But not potato rolls, as good as they are -- they're perfect for burgers, but I think their flavor is wrong for hot dogs.)

I am watching part 2 of HALF THE SKY on PBS.  When it's over, I'm going to bed to read some more about champagne - 'night!

Anybody got a Gray's Papaya Dog on them? I'm hankering for one tonight. Not quite Nathan's, but good. And really good with that papaya drink.

As many times as I've been in Skylines and Gold Stars, I never even gave a glance to anything except the 5-Ways.  So, next time, my usual 5-Way PLUS a Coney.

I only go the four-way...spaghetti, onions, chili, cheese.  Chili just shouldn't have beans!  Particularly Cincinnati chili.

I did have the unique privilege of introducing BK to Cincy Chili when he was in town.  How is the care package holding out, Bruce?  Do I need to re-supply you?

The last time I was in London, I found a german sausage place on Villiers Street, right around the corner from where I stay called Herman Ze German.  Delicious sausages!  Went there for lunch a lot.  They have a facebook page.  They have a great motto.  "Our wurst is ze best."

well the Vixter enjoyed Spiderman - although she warned me I would probably not like it as there are big spiders wandering around that would "freak " me "out"

Finished with my viewing, listening to CD2 of Bliss, then will relisten to the new master I listened to earlier - never had a moment to start liner notes, but tomorrow.

Tonight, I went to Costco and had a Polish dog (with a drink) and a swirl frozen yogurt.

Just had to share. :)

I even put mustard on it...which I NEVER do.  I'm strictly a ketchup-on-a-hot-dog guy.

Well, I hate to do (no, really, I do), but I must go to bed NOW.  I have a meeting at work and I can't be late...and it's at 9:00 a.m.  That's nine o'clock in the morning!  What were they thinking??

Anyway, good night, all.
