BK, your dedication to not settling for second best is what has kept you in the industry for so long. It is appreciated. I know from "Sugar" and "Promises," especially, that the extra effort is well worth it.

Sorry to have been sitting here like so much fish, but that was what I was off cooking for my family for dinner.  Salmon, to be exact, with baked potatoes and green beans.  We tried fat-free sour cream and Richard described it as "thin."

I just finished catching up on last evenings posts.

MBarnum, you are such a blond!

Jane and Elmore, I am sorry for your travel woes.

However, DakotaCelt I am still trying to translate the Germs from Russia block.  Still, improvement vibes at your job.  Do you have a newspaper on campus.  There used to always be rable-rouserrs on college newspaper willing to stir things up!

I've also been studying the online menu from The Cheesecake Factory to try to figure out what I'll be able to eat when I go there for lunch tomorrow with my Vera Bradley friends.  Looks like there are several possibilities and I'll probably have the hot caramel apple cider (hold the whipped cream) when everyone else has cheesecake.

I know the stores need a good Christmas this year, but the season is being stretched out awfully long this year. Or is it my imagination.

It is after Halloween!

Well it is officially the Christmas season -  I just watched a family group ,all clad in Snugglies, singing around the piano in front of the Christmas tree

Does anyone think the Vixter is secretly hoping to find the  peace sign emblazzoned Snugglie under the Christmas tree this year?

I am trying to figure out how many millions of Snugglies will be sold for the holiday season  Hey, for Chirstmas you will only get one.  With Hanukkah you could end up with 8!

Thanks, DR Jane.  I've found that it helps a lot to do some pre-planning rather than making spontaneous bad decisions.

Jason Graae fans  take note.

I would tell my friend Sharry about this, but Jason probably already told her about it when they got together last month in British Columbia.

MBarnum I enjoyed the photo of The Heathman from the forties.

I don't know why Mr. Barnum thought that any of us would recognize the photo from the Forties!

I'm so sorry to hear that such a nice person as DKCelt is being bullied. That sounds like a horrible situation; I hope it is resolved soon! Hugs and vibes!

Speaking of bullying, the Cartoon Network has been shooting anti-bullying spots any time they can get someone famous who's in town who carries some weight with the viewers. Greg worked on a spot this week with the singer Ne-Yo. He said e-Yo was super nice, showed up early, and was polite to everyone and did whatever anyone asked, including removing his sunglasses. Coincidentally, they were Tom Ford sunglasses, as mentioned in bk's post. He had to take them off because you could read the name "Tom Ford" on the lens. We both wondered why anyone would put their name on the actual LENS! That would bug me if it was in my line of sight.

Did I just see that ad already?  Or was this a different one?

Jane, you're not the only one who has a problem about the airline pat-downs:  Scanners and pat-downs upset airline passengers.

DR DakotaCelt - Hello! I'm so sorry to hear about the bullying you and your co-workers are having to endure.  As other DRs have mentioned, this sounds like something that the ACLU should be made aware of.  And if you and others are on Facebook or Twitter, I'd also drop some "hints" to CNN, to Anderson Cooper, in particular.

Ok, one last one....the more I think about it, the more I think i'll just take the food out of my bedroom and shut him in there with me for the night before surgery.  I think he'd be a lot happier.

Sweet photo and I like that plan.  Will the others mind being locked out?

Oh they won't like it, but it's just one night.

This is from my webcam. It's a little dark and the photo is bad quality, but this is how Ricky likes to sit as I work on the computer in my recliner

I love it!

Thanks... pass along the website if you want.  Everything is tasty and very easy to make.  He recently did the photoshoot for the site and of course, we now have the product in the fridge....  Like I said, everything is tasty and really easy to make.
