Guess I'll head down now to see what's in the mail, tidy up a few things, and then start on lunch preparation.

Best friend John and I aren't having lunch this week until Wednesday.

Thank you DR MattH for the info re: PSYCH and MONK.

I am curious are these shows where each episode is mostly self-contained. I.e., will i be able to easily follow shows from the second season if i have never seen the show before?

I find most of the shows i watch these days have storylines where you really need to watch them in order from the beginning of the season. Even a show like MEDIUM, where the case can be self-contained on the episode have family plots and other developments that span the whole year.

I liked THE BLACK WIDOW dvd as well, I even liked the commentary.  It seems that Peggy Ann Garner was in NYC when the actress originally cast in the role was to be replaced (I forget who and why) - so she tested in NYC and was shot by the second unit doing locations, she was also fitted for costumes in NYC.

I think that the FOX NOIR movie that MR BK mentioned over the weekend DANGEROUS CROSSING was filmed on many of the sets that FOX had built for both Titanic and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
